I myself have the same pain on the left side of my rib it hurts so much. I am 15 years old and had this pain since i was thirteen i told my mother but yet she still belives it is nothing, i dont know if i am the only one but when i get this pain my body slants.
the other day i was at my uncles house and he had told me it might be sciatica but i still have my doubts because it says the pain is more to the bottom of the back i am going to doctor hopefully soon and if i find out what it is i'll besure to post it.
