hi, ive been having some problems aswell over the past few days after a bump to my groin area ive been having pains in that area but its starting to move to the lower belly area. the pain seems to be ok at the moment but it can get worse from time to time.
At first i thought it was a pulled muscle, it feels kinds the same in the area, but its lasted to long i feel to be a pulled muscle. i some times get a sharp pain in the groin area, its not to bad but its still there, ive not had anything like this before after bumps
I dont know if to go to my local doctors to get it checked out or leave if for a few days and see how it goes.

Help!

I woke up at 2am with shocks of pain into my right testicle. After consulting with experts I manually untwisted it and am no longer in pain. It was probably caused by twisting motions at the gym along with wearing boxers instead of a jock strap or supportive underwear.

Testicles tend to torsion inward and therefore they need to be torsioned in the opposite direction. This link states the technique I used on myself, saving me a lot of money.
Good luck.

Same problems I have. I went to a doctor... first time checked there was blood in the urine. Next time checked... no blood.

There was no signs of swelling in the tube from the bladder on the way out, which makes it unlikely the doc said, that it would be a kidney stone, unless it was very small, passed, and over with. ...if it was small, passed, and over with, I don't feel I'd be writing this right now.

Once my scan came back, the doc said that the radiologist or whomever, had spotted something they think might be 'Divertculosis'

What it is, is in the intestine tract, there are indents on the sides of the walls apparently. Sometimes those don't flush out correctly, which can cause everything from swelling, to infection, and if the nerve areas are somehow tied together, it would explain why I feel I've been kicked in the nuts.

I tend not to fully agree with the theory they gave me, not because I know better than a doctor, but because the first doctor told me I had traces of blood in my urine. I'm an open minded fellow though, and I've been doing whats been prescribed of increasing my fiber drastically and drinking a hell of a lot of water. I'm on day two of this and still in pain - hoping to hell its not the chronic pelvic pain as listed above.

I'm doubtful to return to this thread, but thought the possibility of divertculosis might help out the other guys having this trouble.

Another symptom I seem to be experiencing... is ...shooting blanks... in regard to sex. No worries getting it up, there's a finale too, just no... mess if you get my drift. Makes me wonder if I'm shot for the possibility of having kids.

Other note: Blood was tested, no diseases, or infections found in urine either.

Good luck.

This is the same as pelvic congestion for woman. I was diagnosed with this but wasn't satisfied. All you men read the following:

I just want to let everyone know that I have vericose veins in my uterus. I have had pain since I was a child, I am now 29 and after years of searching, going from doc to doc, I finally found out that I had something called Nutcracker Syndrome which is a clinically manifest variant of nutcracker phenomenon, renal vein entrapment syndrome, or mesoaortic compression of the left renal vein. It results most commonly from the compression of the left renal vein between the abdominal aorta (AA) and superior mesenteric artery (WIKIPEDIA).

This causes secondary symptoms. For men it's pain and veriscosity in the testicles, for woman in the pelvic. DOCTORS USUALLY NEVER CHECK FOR THIS!!!! I did my research and made them check me despite their claims that I didn't have it, but an MRI confirmed it. I am getting surgery to fix this on 30th of June 2010!!! So before anyone removes anything get checked for this especially the 15 year old boy. Just thought I would warn you all! :!:

I wonder how many people actually have this, but go misdiagnosed!!!!!

Hey everyone, I have been having the same pain in my right side for over a year. Not sure when it all started, but it was out of the blue. I have been to every type of doctor you can imagine and no luck. I've had a CT scan (still paying that), colonoscopy, ultrasounds, x-rays, blood tests, urine tests, everything and yet no diagnosis. The best I got was a cyst in my right testicle and I took antibiotics for 2 times, with no luck. It goes away every now and again, but has flared up over the last few weeks. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I have an appointment for a checkup 6 months on Nov 1st, maybe I'll ask about that nutcracker syndrome.

I have had something similar OP. I am 22 years old and for the past several years i have had chronic pain in my lower back and left hip that would shoot all the way down my left leg from the hip to knee to anckle and big toe finally. when the pain is really bad it's almost as if i can feel it in my right testicle. I spoke to several older gentlemen over the years and they have had the same issues and claimed it was related to their sciatic nerve, or a compressed disc in the back. I went to a back specialist before I lost me health insurance 3 years ago. I went through all sorts of tests, CT scans, MRI's, Bone scan even. Nothing was found. I was given a short script of vicodin for the pain which barely helped. Since then I have been managing my back and hip pain my stretches and to be completely blunt marijuana. It seemed to help. the past week or so i have been getting aches in my right testicle. I was hanging with some friends on monday night having a good time and then I was hit with severe pain in my abdomen on the lower right side, and in my right testicle, it put me on the floor and in tears at times, I was convined i had a hernia, and immediatelty saw my family doctor. he told me that "There is no obvious hernia." he mentioned, a possible bacterial infectin but wouldnt go into much detail there, he also mentioned kidney stones and apendecitus. I have had a constant "pain" (which i would describe as extreme discomfort) like nothing i ever felt in my life. Last night and today. I am beginning to seriously worry about it, but not sure what my options are due to my lack of health insurance.

I hope my input helps in some way....

Hi:

I had a similar problem when I was 16, I didn't know what was happening, someone took me to the hospital and they only gave a shot to reduce the pain and sent me home. because of the lack of money my mom took me to a pharmacist and he gave me antibiotics (he assumed i had an STD) The pain was severe and my left testicle big as a golf ball.

Then he prescribed Uropol and Wintomilon for bladder or kidney infection (only to make me pee fluorescent yellow or red.

Almost one month after, the pain was gone but my testicle shrink, I didn't even think on the possibility of infertility because I was too young to do so, fortunately, I didn't have any reproducing problems regardless of my smaller nut.

It is frustrating not to know what really happened though.

Sounds like I wrote the article . I have also been for all the tests ultra sounds prostate 4 different antibiotics . I am 47 years of age I have 1 coffee / day and drink alcohol more than I should , I played competitive sports for many years but don't now . In my research I have done in this year long pain that you talk of , I have narrowed it down to a compression of sorts in my lower back I have been going to a chiropractor for the last 2 months now and he is 100 % sure this is my problem even showed me in x-rays the lower back area he showed me has many nerves that control many areas especially our place of discomfort. I am at about 70 % comfort now. I feel your pain my friend go talk to a chiropractor let me know how you make out  and be honest with him  :)

Any luck with your problems that you are having? I had the exact problems as you described. I was then diagnosed with multiple hernias. I got operation and now the problem has gotten worse. I am in much more pain. I had this pain for over 15 years myself. I was stubborn and never went to the doctors untill last year. Now its getting worse daily. Any luck for you? Do your nuts sometime get so tender and painful that it hurts to the touch?

adding on to what i just wrote. I got a CT Scan results show mildly fatty liver, low attenuation structure present within left inguinal canal, "thats after operation", 2.2x2x2.9cm oval low attenatuion lesion in the subcutaneous fat of the anterior right thoracicc wall extending to the skin surface, degenerative changes are identified in the lumbar spine, and mild diverticulosis without evidence of diverticulitis. My hernia specialist said there is nothing wrong with me. Im still but now in worse pain then ever. Did your CT scan have anything similar to what i have? I just got my CT scan results last week. Also one more question. if you jump do you get a sharp pain in your testicles? It feels kind of like a foot cramp but in the testicle area instead.

You may have sports hernia. I used to play soccer a lot until i got all your symptoms. I stop playing soccer for two weeks then when i start playing again all the symptoms came back. I realize that i should stop playing for awhile, so my body can heal itself. It worked but i had to do a lot of stretching, and wait for almost 2 years. I still have little pain when i force myself too much like playing soccer for 2 or 3 hours. Remember to warm up before you do any sports. I apologize for my english mistakes.
