My advice in these situations is to stop masturbating by inserting things into your vagina and masturbate by stimulating your clit with your fingers instead. This means that you can't cut yourself inside and also you are more likely to have an orgasm because your clit is more sensitive than your p***y. Better still, get someone to lick you out!

So I know this response is a little late... but I had the exact same experience, hairbrush end and everything (I'm 17-still a virgin). However, I know it wasn't my hymen breaking because I've used the hairbrush several times and never had this happen until recently... I figured it was just me starting my period early from going too hard or something, but then the bleeding stopped and it really weirded me out. The next time I went at it, I bled again but there was no pain; felt great actually... So I'm really worried that there's something up. I've googled information about this stuff multiple times and from what I could gather so far is that it's either too much friction or Endometriosis. I know, big jump to conclusions... but I'm actually kind of concerned because I'm currently getting these veeeeerry slight uncomfortable crampy feelings, just like a period. Only here's why I'm mostly concerned- I have a typically regular period; falls in between the beginning/end of transitioning months and lasts 4-5 days. I've also explored my body a lot with masturbation and I get wet very easily. Admittedly, I've always been kind of a perv.. not in terms of just creepily checking people out all the time, but just always having the daydream of sex in my mind. So this whole bleeding thing has only just happened recently and I'm bummed cause I've finally reached a point in my life where I'm gaining a good amount of confidence to finally lose the V card and just have fun with it, ya feel? I don't wanna be in the heat of the moment and then have to never show my face to this guy ever again because I bled all over him )): Any advice would seriously help!! I'm not comfortable enough with talking about this to my mom or, hell, scheduling a Dr.'s appt. for a chat..
