I had three mixed drinks the day before so I told the doctors maybe it was a fluke from the alcohol but the doctors disagreed stating that if it was a fluke then my lipase levels would have went straight to normal after one day of treatment. After one day of treatment my lipase levels only went down to 900 or so. By day four my lipase levels were considered normal and I was released and suddenly the doctors said it was probably a fluke but sent me home with antibiotics for seven days and some pills that stop my stomach acid production for 30 days. I have also been put on a soft diet. Now 2 days later I have unbearable lower back pain, I am shakey and weak and I'm losing 3 pounds each day. I also feel like someone is squeezing my ribs and i feel like someone is taking a knife to the inside of my belly button. The doctors were great but I wasnt informed of what to look for and I dont know if I should still be concerned with all the symptoms I'm having. They are worse then when I initially went in to the hospital and I still get a gagging feeling where my body just wants to vomit which is what got my in the hospital i the first place
