Hi, I am a seventeen years old girl. My problem is my face. I have acne that I cant eliminate. I have tried all kinds of products, but they are still there. A friend of mine has suggested PanOxyl 2.5. She says this product has helped her a lot, but cant say what it contains. Can you tell me something about PanOxyl 2.5? Will it help me with my acne problems?

Hi, I have tried PanOxyl 2.5. The active ingredient in PanOxyl 2.5 is benzoyl peroxide. This is a powerful antiseptic. I have learned this fact from my pharmacist after I have complained about the effect of PanOxyl 2.5. I didnt have a nice experience with PanOxyl 2.5. I got such severe reaction when I have applied it on my face that I had to go and talk to a pharmacist about it and see what I can do to fix this. My face was red and I was feeling like it was on fire. PanOxyl 2.5 did eliminate acne, but the pain I was feeling wasnt worth it. Now I am not saying that this is a bad product all together, but that it wasnt right for me. I suppose my skin is too sensitive for PanOxyl 2.5. I would suggest you to talk to a dermatologist before you try it if you want to avoid any unpleasant experiences.
