I’ve started to notice some burning-like sensations in my arms and feet. It was painless, itching and prickling. I think that it may be parashtesia. Does it require any treatment? These sensations occurred suddenly. What else can it be if not parashtesia?

Well, it sounds like paresthesia to me. I’ve also experienced similar sensation, like tingling and numbness of the skin. It was painful too and leaved spontaneously. This disorder may appear without any known physical cause. I lost normal sensation to touch in those regions which were affected by paresthesia.
