Went to the doctors today. She basically told me that it's very unlikely...infact no, I'm definitely not pregnant. No test, no nothing. She just went into great detail about PCOS and how it works. These symptoms are driving me insane. However, I'm going to try and convince myself that I feel fine and hopefully these phantom symptoms that I have tricked my body into feeling, will disappear. :(

I am 26 years old, I have been trying to conceive with my husband for two months now. I have pcos and get my period 2-3 times a year. The last two weeks I have been experiencing a few pregnancy symptoms such as back aches, headaches, super tired, and odd cravings. Ive always hated sea food but I've been craving shrimp. TMI but I have had super soft stool for a week now, I've read that can be a sign of very early pregnancy. I've taken two HPTs both negative. I'm wondering if this may be false? An also if it may be very hard to conceive in my condition.

I am 30 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS at 21.  My husband and I have been trying to conceive for nearly a year.  Until December I was on medroxypro to start my periods, but my doctor took me off of it because it was causing me to have pregnancy symptoms.  Well, this will now be the 3 period I have missed and I am having most of the symptoms of pregnancy including a growing abdomen (I can wear one pair of my pants and none others).  I have had 2 negative hpts and 1 negative blood tests, but my husband is still convinced that I am pregnant and in my heart I believe he is right but my head says no.  I go to see the obgyn on the 21st and am hoping for answers...perhaps I am one that just tests negative as well.  Here's hoping and praying I am pregnant!

hi i was diagnose with PCOS after having a cyst burst 9months ago... i got off birth control right after i found out cause i was told it was gonna be hard to get preg. my cycle has been like clock work ever since. i haven't passed 28days, ive been on a 25day cycle for the most part.. when i was a week a 5days late i took blood  and it came out negative 2days later i started spotting very very light.. like a spot or two a day. (brownish or pinkish) for 10days... never increased.. now I'm 2months without a period and took a HPT this morning and still neg. I've had occasional nausea, headache and tingle/sharp pain in my nipple area along with heartburn which I've never had in my life.. (heartburn) i had a week after being late and it hasn't left.. the tender breast started a week later when i started spotting and nausea as well... my back hurts once in a while and i'm still getting slight cramping.. i'm also more gassy the usual.. even when burping... ive never burped so much in my life! lol unfortunately I'm away on work so i wont be home for another month. so now i have to wait until i get home to look further into this.. or wait for a period in may... everyone around me is making me believe that I'm preg... they say I'm showing all the signs... i honestly dont know what to believe but ive been reading alot of stories online of woman not knowing until they r in their 3rd month before really finding out do to them having PCOS or Thyroids even after taking blood. Or having a hormone level deficiencies. i am aware that it could be stress but my stress level has never made me feel like im preg. I've been working out and losing weight before i even found out about my PCOS and a few months after i was told i had it, i was told it was gone. i checked for Cyst and they didnt find any when i went for my blood test. just wanted to know if anyone is going through what i'm going through right now.. cause i'm feeling extra special right now... lol not in a good way...

People who are saying PCOS does not affect HPT results are INCORRECT. Read the instructions in the HPT. It will say something along the lines of " Certain health conditions such as ovarian cyst or an ectopic pregnancy can cause a false or irregular result with your test". First trimester miscarriages are common, and you may not even know you had one ladies. The best thing to do us see your doctor right away, because often with PCOS the problem isn't conceiving, but carrying. Even if you think you are overthinking it, go to the doctor. Because whether you are pregnant or not these symptoms could also result from a chance in your hormonal condition. * line is quoted from First Signal pregnancy test.

I'm only 16 but last year I was diagnosed with pcos after many trips back and forth to hospital and ultrascans. I had unprotected sex just over 5 weeks ago around the time I was ovulating. Anyway, since then I haven't had a period. My periods aren't always regular but it is nearly 3 weeks late and this is beyond normal for me. I've taken 2 home pregnancy tests but both have returned negative results. Is it worth going to the doctors or does it sound like I'm not pregnant? Please don't start on about how I'm too young to be having sex ect, I know that but it's too late. All I want is some advice from people who have been through the same thing as me. I've also been having alot of symptoms on top. I spent most of last week constipated and throwing up, my back has suddenly started hurting, I get cramping every day but never come on my period and I'm over emotional and tired too. Another thing is my nipples are alot darker and the area around them is larger now. None of these symptoms are in my head and I'm beginning to worry now:/

I was diagnosed at 19 with PCOS, because I had never experienced a natural period. When I was 16 nd 18 I asked physicians about it, but their response was just to tell me we would test me if and when I was trying to conceive. I began going to a free clinic at 19, and due to my symptoms, they did a blood panel and a pelvic ultrasound to confirm that I indeed had PCOS. I started taking birth control, and metfromin[id been on BC as a teen but thats the only way I had a period], and I lost 40lb, and I became regulated. When I was 22 I aged out of the clinic, but because of my weight loss, and I dont know why else, I began having periods naturally every 4-6 months. I never freaked out when I didnt have my period for a few months because i didnt't even display symptoms of anything.

I am worried now, because I am 24, and for the past year and a half I have been regular. I always have my period the last weekinto the beginning of the month. Like I start on one of those days. if i AM irregular, it's only like 1 month out of every 3-6, but then my next period, is right on track. Well, normally, when I have my period, it's heaviest the very first day, I'm uncomfortable the first day, but then it's really just a light flow the rest of the 3 or 4 days. Well one month I missed one, and then the next month[right on time, 2 mos ago] I had it, but it was really REALLY heavy. like 4 days worth of blood clots, i was dizzy and light headed, my cramps were normal, but lasted longer. I thought maybe I was just sloughing off extra stuff perhaps? even though that never happened before, even if it'd been 3 mos. LAst month, the same thing happened though. Days of clots, dizziness, nausea, extended cramps, I bled through a super tampon plus a panty liner plus a my undies into my bed, and also all that, through my pants as well onto the seat of my friends car, within 2 hours of changing my last one. THIS MONTH, I am a week late, however, I'm experiencing period symptoms, tiredness, cramps, emotional etc, a little nausea but idk if thats actually due to this or anxiety. As bad as it sounds, I'm a quite sexually active person as well. I haven't seen a dr in 2 years. I know I should go fot this, but I have to find a low insurance place w a sliding scale or something first, so for now, I'm trolling the web for experiences.  I've never been pregnant or had a miscarriage to my knowledge...so I really wouldn't even know what to be looking out for. but 2 months of scary amounts of bleeding, and then nothing but symptoms now, has got me worried. am i freking out too soon?

My wife and I did an iui 5 months ago and she has been having a period every month but this month she is 3 weeks late and gaining weight also showing signs of being pregnant. She has pcos and did not stop metformin since we started trying to conceive. The pregnancy test are coming out negative but the stomach cramps, movement in her belly, nipples and everything from nausea is here. The doctor called yesterday and said we had something to discuss about her blood work but we missed the call. Could this be or little miracle baby???!?!?!? I don't want to get too excited

Anyone who has missed their period should ask for an ultrasound. I was diagnosed with a borderline ovarian tumor in may that was the size of a newborn baby. I went to the doctor a lot for the same symptoms for five years. At one point I really thought I was pregnant and called the doctor two times in one day. My tests were negative of course. Then I started feeling around in my abdomen to I guess to see if i felt a baby in there. That's when i found the tumor. Any changes in your menstrual cycles let your doctor know. Ovarian cancer has some symptoms like pregnancy like missed period, bloating, heartburn, hormones going crazy, breast swelling at random times, ect.
