I'm glad that you tried it and that you're seeing progress like the rest of us that tried it :). I've made the same mistake of not taking before pictures...you can always leave your email and have the guys email you for the pics to see.

Did the soldering iron method on Wednesday. Got most but a few still remain. I'm waiting for the healing process to finish but I'm having trouble keeping it dry, especially overnight, which I feel is just slowing the healing down. There is a little bit of pain but nothing drastic . I've been applying Savlon disinfectant twice a day too. Anyone got any suggestions

Unfortunately I didn't burn the papules enough so i still got them but they are not visible as they were before. Im going to buy a sharper tin for my soldering iron and doing the procedure again.

Hey Guys so almost a year since I posted this, just wanted to give an update. The burned PPP healed completely within two weeks of doing the procedure. I had some slight red marks but these were unnoticeable once my penis was hard. These too went away within 4 weeks of completing the procedure. A year later and I am back on this forum because I still have some tiny little PPP under the head of my penis. I didn't burn these the first time around as they were not a problem before but now that the rest of my penis is smooth these tiny ones seem to stand out so much more. Looking back at my before pics I would say my penis is 90% better, I'm just aiming for that 100% now. You can't imagine how much difference a soldering iron made to my confidence. I felt so uncomfortable with PPP that I couldn't even maintain an erection. Don't be discouraged by the naysayers, just read through the many successful posts on here. Wish everyone struggling with PPP could find this thread.

Hey I read this form about 6 months ago and I finally got the courage to do the iron method. I used a 30w iron, Dr numb 5% lidocaine cream, and neosporin. I applied the Dr numb cream and then waited about 20 minutes until I went to work with the soilding iron. 

I burned all of the bumbs and then I went over them again to make sure I didnt miss anything and then i started to feel some pain. Its now been about 20 minutes after the procedure and I have some irritaion. I would rate the pain a 6/10. 

I can still feel the bumps when I touch them and I am nervous that I didnt burn them enough? is this normal? I did hear the hissing sound and when i burned them i did see a whitish yellow debree fall off.

I would love to hear back from anyone because I am freaking out (like everyone else who has done this).

I am going to keep posting my progress and I would appreciate any advice!!

Also what would you recomend I do for the next following days to help the healing process

Dont worry it's normal. You will see the results in the next week, and maybe u need to do a second procedure. I also had to do a second time and i think im not the only one. Maybe i should do it for the third time to be 100% done. Clean it twice a day then apply the ointment. Ignore it it will heal.

Sounds exactly how it went for me. As the numbing cream wore off there was some pain that went away after an hour or two, then just sensitive to the touch. There was also debris that didn't fall off right away, just give it time and don't pick at it or anything, it will come off on its own. During the healing I washed extremely gently in the shower - no direct water just aiming the shower head at my body and letting water trickle down and really delicate with the soap, then I'd dab it dry with toilet paper and apply topical antiseptic. Took about a week for the debris to fall off which revealed bright red skin underneath, and that redness went away after about another week.

Just checking in again, did the soldering iron method over a year and half ago, still totally smooth. Not going to write about what I did since I've written it enough times already, read all the pages in this thread and you'll see my posts. The guest in the previous post is me as well. IF YOU ARE WORRIED PLEASE READ THIS:

I promised myself that if I saw any improvement in my own PPP then I would put it out there somhewere on the internet because I know exactly the feeling most men/teenagers will be feeling having no idea how to treat PPP. 

I started out using the toothpaste method but it was painful and it didnt look as if it was doing anything after the first few days except harm. I went online and I bought a small bottle of tea tree oil and a small bottle of Castor oil. These were about 4 quid each and easy to find. For about a week and a half I have been applying both alternately and I have noticed results. I'm not going to tell you they have fully disappeared but within 3 days I noticed them decreasing in size and appearance and at this point they are almost unnoticeable. 

I am only one case and I may be lucky but I was feeling so so shite before I decided to try this method. Its non invasive and you dont have to reveal it to family or a doctor. And by the way, if you need an excuse for buying these oils then they are meant to be good for your skin or something so just make something up like that.

that was a great experience.. illl try it on my own too.. hope it works in my penis... by the way.. is the soldering iron directly being touched to the ppp area or u do have to put a needle like metal on the tip of the iron.. ??

so u mean the procedure is as basic as this..

could you help me pls.. i have few questions.. im 21 and circumsized .. yet i have noticed that i have PPP to. mine were just small around the rim .. but some beneath the head were bigger than the others..
could you email me the procedures?? and the materials needed.. cause i still have to check those if we do have here in the Philippines.. and pics of before and after the procedure of ironing the PPP if u just dont mind. if u do.. just the procedure would be greately appreciated.. tnx a lot .. hope u can help me....
