Period is late, I have symptoms but the test are negative

My last period was October 27th my periods are irregular but seem to always come and I can tell when they are but this month it has not shown up and tmr is the last day of the month I have been sleeping more eating more cramping discharge but no period and today me and my boyfriend was talking and I just started crying out the blue could I be pregnant we have been using pull out method nd I'm not on birth control I took a pregnancy test about 2 days ago but it said negative
