Period, then Spotting and Positive Pregnancy Test

Ok so I am 19yrs old and the last date of intercourse was April 2. I have been having weird pains and symptoms that seem to be related to pregnancy. I am a little confused. I had been throwing up from roughly December through January. In Feb it slowed down and now it has stopped. I still experience nausea almost daily but when I went to the hospital in Jan the doctors told me that I wasn't pregnant but I also found that I am Anemic. Because I found this out I just attributed my fatigue, nausea to being anemic. I also took a pregnancy test in Dec. and Jan I believe and they both were negative. A few months ago my period changed from 5-7 days to 3-5 days, I thought nothing of it. In Dec my boyfriend came to visit we had sex and then about 30 minutes after I started spotting brown/red but my period had ended a week or so before. It persisted for 3 days then stopped. Since then it happened in March a few days after my period. Up to date (4-6-10) I have discomfort in my ovary area, nausea, headaches, fatigue (which I am not sure if it means anything because Im anemic), and mood issues every other week or so. My period is supposed to come this weekend however I normally go off of my friends but my friend just had hers and I didnt. (I know that may not be vital info). Im not sure about all the things that Ive been experiencing. If someone could give me some info it would be great.

Well I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with a baby boy! And, I also had sorta the same thing happen to me.. I would get belly cramps before and after a normal period (Febuary 5th).. I took a home test, and it showed up negative.. Then I took another one.. It also showed up negative (March 5).. I was bleeding though.. But what had happened was that I had spotted a little bit.. Then it skipped a day with nothing.. Then a couple days of lighter bleeding than my normal period.. Like 4 weeks later, I took another test, and it came back positive.. I was told that the others (negatives) were just too soon to tell.. So like after getting the positive pregnancy test, I had a doc. appointment like a week and a half later.. Then I had an ultrasound like 2 weeks after that.. I was 3 months pregnant already when i went to get the ultrasound.. So just keep your head held high! It will happen sooner or later! And dont worry to much about your symptoms so it doesnt get you too excited.. Just suspect, but dont go nuts looking at everything on the internet just to see.. Am I pregant? Hope this helped!

Im new with all this stuff, we have no children in our family... So i took a first response test on saturday just a few days ago it showed two lines but one was very light, i believe this is a positive result. i woke up this morning and noticed it looked like i was about to start my period very light pink color but it was stilll there.... Im gonna go to the doctor but in the mean time im just trying to figure out whats going on...

hi i got my period on the 2nd of this month it started weird as it as brown no bleeding or anything the second day it was brown blood the third day it was a heavy period regular the 4th day it was back to light then it was over with so todays the eighth i had sex this morning and admediately after sex i started bleeding again no stds we both was recently tested no tears in my vagina as well. was wondering could i be pregnant its just really light spotting and this has never happened before im actually really confused

please help me i am 13 days late for my period ur situation sounds kinda familiar with mine im 13 days late i took 3 hpts and they all said positive but im having like cramps like my periods about to start. what do u think? am i pregnant is something goinng wrong? please help!!

No, when you skip around with your pills it causes many women to have breakthrough bleeding. Your period may be a few days off this month as well. It's normal but use back up protection but your at higher risk for concieving since you took your pills incorrectly.

me and my boyfriend had sex. then after 3 days i had my mestruation and its normal. but the worse thing is that after 2 weeks of my menstration (without sex intercourse since my last menstration) there is brown spotting last for 5days . do you think im pregnant.

i have a question. i just had my period oct 25 2012. i took a hpt on nov 1 2012 and it was positive. my husband and i werent trying to conceive. im really scared since i had an ectopic pregnancy 2 years ago. also for two days now ive been spotting brown which i was told is old blood. ive been trying to get in to see a dr. any advice is appreciated.

My period has been abnormal for 2 months I usually have my period for 5 to 7 days now for the last 2 months it has been 2 days bleeding and 1 or 2 days spotting and this month 1 day bleeding and 2 days spotting is this normal period or could I be pregnant me and my husband have been trying to conceive for about 5 months?

I had a friend who had the same thing. She had a period and thought, oh well I miscarried. But, then she found out she was pregnant. They think that she miscarried a twin almost immediately, but the other twin implanted and was healthy. He was born 9 months (well 8 months after she found out) later perfectly healthy. But, this is only to say its not probably, but possible to be pregnant after a period. The only way to know for sure is a pregnancy test followed by ultrasound with your OB after a certain number of weeks to confirm that all the essentials are there with a healthy heartbeat. The OB might do a blood test earlier, but some will not if they don't get a positive urine test. They use the same urine test you do at home.

Me and my husband had sex on the 9th. I started my period on the 14th and we had sex the 15 & 16. I got off my period around the 19 or so. Well on the 23 i spotted a little...only for a day and after that ive felt nauseous, had cramping and rib and chest and breast pain. I would only be like 3 weeks bc its the 31st. Is it possible to even be pregnant? Or am i syking myself out-someone????

On the 23rd Dec I had a laparoscopy and endo removal. Last month I was then 7 days late and neg preg test. 2 weeks after my period I got light spotting followed by my period arriving 5 days early finished early (I normally bleed for 6-7days) and finished in 5 days. Any thoughts? My hubby and I have been trying to fall preg for 2 years now... :(
