I have this, I've had it for years, but only recently realized that there was a weird feeling on my back, but anyway... I spoke to my Personal Trainer about this who also does sports massages he said its something relating to your spine and your nerve endings and that they possible get trapped causing them to go numb and tingle, he said after a few sessions it should gradually deteriorate but to keep up the sessions so that they will keep the tingling to a minimum. Think ill kinda miss it lol

I am wondering if mine is related to carrying an 8 kg baby on the same side all the time. Is below my shoulder blade and sensation occurs 10 times a day - usually on sitting down.

This is so weird. I thought I was the only one. I've actually had this weird tingling sensation on my right shoulder blade and sometimes all over my back for about 7 years now. It started right after I got shots for something. I never thought this was a big deal so I never went to get checked. Hope someone has an answer to this.

Crazy, I didn't even know what to google. But here it is, I have the exact same thing. Right shoulder blade, numb/tingling/crawling feeling. Especially when I'm on the computer. I'm right handed too. Posture could likely be attributing. I'll try the chiropractor and maybe a massage, I feel like the GP would be a waste of time. SO many people with the same thing when I thought google was a long shot. Thanks for everybody's help.

Well I'm amazed...and I thought like everyone else, that I was alone with this. I'm left handed and it's on my left side. I think dill go with the idea that it's a pinched nerve. Now, I have been having this tingling on the right side right next to my spine, it just started out as irritating, on and off, then the tingling increased over time, now is full blown all the time and the last few days increasingly worse, and there is pain that started three days ago, and getting worse by the minute, last night, I had my daughter feel right around that area, because it feels like something pressing on my spine and she felt a rectangle shaped lump...its really worrying me, anyone else have something similar?

Levi, Your description is identical to mine. I thought bugs, hives... but ne markings. It is to the right of my spine in a spot that is hard to reach and scratch. I am going to check with physician. Thanks fr the info.

Same. I'm carrying a baby in my left arm all day and have tingling/burning in a spot on that side when the muscles get fatigued. I thought maybe the spinal anesthesia had aggravated the nerves somehow but maybe it's just the repetitive-stress muscle tension.I also have a mole there but glad that may not be the cause.
