I have so been experiencing tingling, like most others, on the right hand side just below shoulder blade! I work in hospitality therefore I'm always on my feet, I've started to notice some patterns with the tingling... It began about 4 months ago, and is always when I'm standing and holding/lifting plates etc.. I think it's just pressure on a nerve considering its in the one spot and when I do certain movements. I'm still going to a doctor just to make sure, it's just annoying more than anything!

Very interesting on the extreme itchiness, my tingling pain, the same as you described is on the right side, but I also get an extremely itchy tailbone, right where my butt crack starts... Not sure if it's linked in any way. It's been going on for months.

Yess thank You! I been tryna understand this and someone said maybe a rash, but this has been happenin every now and then right on the upper left side of my back it would just start itching & its like a tingly lil sting if the itching gets serious, I just rub cocoa butter on it and the itching stops and doesnt bother me, so recommend using cocoa butter to keep the skin moisturized because I think the itching is caused by dry skin the lil tiny bumps would go down

This is so freaking weird.  I am having the same tingling and itching in the same place (upper left side on my back) and I also feel a mole or blemish of some type in this area.  This is incredible that a condition with such definitive symptoms would happen to so many people and no one really knows what is causing it.  I am going to my doctor and taking this forum with me for him to review.

I've got this going on too- my chiropractor seems to think it is a stuck rib joint in conjunction with some neck compression causing the tingling. Doing some physical therapy to strengthen the muscles in neck and traps ans well as having ribs adjusted with the rest of the chiropractic manipulation. Anyone else getting this diagnosis. It's the weirdest feeling...

I'm 16, and a distance runner. when I get tired, I slouch while running, and I've lately been feeling a tingling in my back right below the shoulder blade. I found a page on back paresthesia, one cause of which is pinched or compressed nerves. I might go to a doctor about this to get a more professional opinion

I'm 52 and has had this tingling sensation in the middle right side of backbone for some months now.  Comes and goes. Comes after doing hard work, or exercise. But, it's getting more often these days, it is tingling now...  Did anyone figure it out?

I have the same thing.  It started for me a couple of weeks ago and only have felt it in the morning when I sit at my computer to check my emails.  It's under the right shoulder blade and the sensation only lasts a few seconds.  Who knew so many people are experiencing the same thing!  Would love to know what it is but assume it's some nerve thing.

i have had this tingling sensation for over a year or so now, and only seems to happen straight after say, half hour after i have had a cigarette or when i get worried or stressed.. but i get mild back pains in the area, maybe its cause we are sitting wrongly.. whilst trying to relax? maybe its cause we have slept on that part of the body for a long while whilst sleeping? everyones symptoms are similar but there could be hundreds of reasons which could be causing it. i am too scared to go the doctors uncase its something serious :( please do tell me if anyone know what causes it and how to get rid of it please.

Exact same symptoms everyone here has posted... Non-painful, numb tingling sensasion that comes and goes under my left shoulder blade for about 2-3weeks now. My LMT and chiropractor both think it's a trigger point. Getting adjusted more often, more massages and trying to improve my posture,

I have it on both sides of my back just below my shoulder blades, it seems to get worse after coffee or energy drinks. I feel it most in the mornings, but it can happen anytime. It doesnt hurt it just tingles, like I'm being shocked lightly.  I think i will go to the doctor, but i feel like it will be a wild goose chase. I have had shigles before, but that was different, more pain involved with that.

If that were the case it would be great but it is terrible. NP is misfiring nerves and diminishes the quality of life
