I have had persistant diareah for almost 2 years. It isnt constant in that maybe once a fornight,or once a week or even once a month my bowel movement are normal. I usually visit the bathroom up to 3 or 4 times a day. I also get the stomach cramp before hand that come with diareah and also the urgency or should i say emergency to use the toilet.
I first noticed this problem after having a cesearian section when my son was born. for the first 4 weeks after I had him it was very bad I was visiting the bathroom up to 10 times a day. Even if I had to urinate that was enough to trigger a bowl movement. which still is the case to this day, not every time time I urinate but i still notice it somtimes trigger it.
I must say I and not the most healthyist eater, And I do try to drink alot of fluid not much water though.
I am embarrasssed to approach my doctor about this and scared of what tests I may need to perform, but since it has been so long I am begining to worry.
Any suggstions:?
Hi hon: I have a feeling that it could be 1 of 2 things. Either an infection that has been in your intestine. They can live for years in there.

OR endimeterosis(sp), this can cause persistant diareah. So instead of being embarrassed, think of this way. IF you can actually stop this, and STOP the not wanting too go out or always having too keep an eye on the toilet all of your life. So don't be embarrassed, I know it's nothing serious, BUT there's that old saying - "Don't die of embarrassment" pertaining too the colon cancer commercials - which I am not equating too you. It's not a nice thing, but EVERYONE does it. Even the doctor sticking their probes etc. And most of the time, you do the stuff yourself - such as a stool sample. So get too the doctor and get your life back OK? Good luck and let me know what happens OK?
