Yes, mulluscum contagiousum! I had them when I was in my twenties...you can get them through shared sweat that doesn't only have to be through sex (though it often is). You can get them from gym equipment or even toilet seats. Sometimes children get them from the playground!

This sounds like Hidradenitis Suppurativa. I have this on my upper thigh near my buttock. I am now 31 and have had it since puberty. For years I didn't know what it was. I was a bit freaked out when I started reading about it, but it has not spread or gotten worse. Don't freak out if you search it online. Many of the pictures you'll see are severe cases. From what I've researched it unclear what causes it. However, it does not mean you are unhygenic. One of the tell-tale signs of Hidradenitis Suppurativa is tunnelling. This is the formation of sinus tracts (often during an attempt to "pop" it) I have lost a good deal of weight, quit smoking, starting eating healthier (more fruits and vegies, nothing crazy); and the frequency ofmy recurrances has lessened. I just keep an eye on, and if it was to get dramatically worse I'd go see a dermatologist about it. As far as I know there is no outright cure. Hey guys, ive been havibg this problem for the longest . I had a vaginal infection and i had a big pimple like bump on the outside on my vaginA . Eversince i been getting these pimples . Thd doctors told mr it was an infection and gave me pills and yes it went away but came back little by little . Idk wat causes it but now about a week ago i had one on my leg i popped it and now on my left buttcheek theres 9 more . Ive been teststed for stds im clean!

I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa and this sure sounds like you may have it as well. It appears in the armpits, under breasts, genital area, inner thighs, back of thighs, buttocks...anywhere there are apocrine sweat glands. No one is quite sure what causes it whether it be hereditary, due to obesity (although thin people have it), allergy to certain foods, stress. Who knows! But go see a dermatologist if you can. I spent far too long not knowing what I had with doctors constantly saying it must be herpes. It is not! Stress and a clean diet help mine to heal. Also, as weird as it sounds, try some Vick's vapor rub on them to ease the pain. The pain seems worse when they are going to pop and the Vick's sometimes gets them to a head. You can also put gauze over them to catch any...goo.
