The first time I took Plan B I did the 12 hours between pills thing, but it is a lot more convient to take both at the same time. I didn't experience bleeding the first couple times I took Plan B but in the last five months I had to take it 3 times! :-( Bad I know, and now in this last month and a half I have had 4 periods! It has been kind of scarey but the Plan B website said that bleeding is normal. My normal periods were fine but the irregular ones were light pink, or darker at times, and lasted a loooong time, at least 4-7days (currently I am having one that started 6 days ago). For the most part the irregular periods are a lighter flow. Quite annoying and I hope my period returns to normal soon. I'm not planning on taking Plan B ever again!
hi, I had my period in the end of the month and it usually lasts 3 days. within 5 days I had sex and had an accident, this was monday night, I was so nervous I went to the pharmacy right away and got plan B, but the pharmacist said to take both pills at once, Im reading all the above posts and everyone states the second one is taken 12 hours later, Im extremely nervous now because I took them 1 hour after the sex, but both at the same time. today I noticed very light blood, and I don't know exactly what to do.. Am I suppose to get even more nervous? Im actually going crazy.

i had sex the day after my period finished and the condom slid off. So to make sure i wouldnt get pregnant i took the morning after pill 72 hours after it had happend (tht was a soon as i could get it). A couple of days after i took it i experienced some brown discharge and then eventually dark brown blood type stuff. Is that normal? i have been experiencing abdominal pains aswell in my lower back and it couldnt be my period coz ive just finished one!? is this the morning after pill doing this?

well this is what happened... i had unprotected sex and the next day i took the first pill and 12 hrs later the 2nd pill then 3 to 5 days later i started bleeding like i have my period after that episode of bleeding for more than a month now i still have not been onmy regular menstrual cycle.. Does the plan b really messes up your menstrual cycle?
Well here's my situation I got my last period September 7. On September 17 which was a friday I didn't completely have sex me and my boyfriend where messing around and put it in about twice. I went out and bought plan b in the morning on the third day which was monday I took both tablets. Its been about 5 days and I haven't experienced any bleeding. I just had a pain in my abdominal that lasted one day. Does that mean I'm pregnant? Now on September 24 last night me and my boyfriend messed around he didn't ejaculate inside me or at all cause we put it about twice I'm scared about precum and about taking plan b twice in one month. Will this mess up my period? Can I be pregnant if my boyfriend didn't ejaculate? Thanks.
Yea my bf and I had sex about 3 days after my period and at the end the condom rolled down a bit but everything was still in the condom.

My period came at end of month as scheduled (oct. 31st) and I am still bleeding?? It's been two weeks, my breasts are no longer sensitive, the way the get get while I am on my period. I thought it ended at 8 full days but I was wrong, it's still on pretty heavy; no cramps though. I've never been irregular and I have not been on the birth control pill since, Feb.
Why is this happening? Is there something wrong with my body?

I had taken plan B on November 13th and on November 19th i started to get pink discharge and cramps but not a lot coming out. And it got a little heavier as the days went on and it would go from brown to red and back to brown and red. Never got nearly as heavy as my normal period would get.

Within the same hour we both purchased the Plan B One-Step Pill. Today i began a very light bleeding which is not even red but brownish. Although i bled within a week of taking the Plan B One-Step Pill- It being so light can still mean that i am pregnant right? I have taken the Plan B One-Step pill multiple times before and my period has always come normal, or heavily within 7 days. Should i follow up with a pregnancy test? I believe you're ok. The plan b pill is more effective the sooner you take it after having sex. But it is always a good idea to take a test just to be certain. These pills aren't 100%. I didn't take my plan b until the next day and I was ok. I was pregnant before and I had a miscarriage. And I had extremely light bleeding and it was more pinkish which can be from implantation bleeding but that was the only time I bled before I had my miscarriage. And plan b just seems to mess up your cycle. I bled for a full two weeks!

It's possible we are all so freaking paranoid that we have tricked our bodies into pregnancy like symptoms.
Ok I need help..my boyfriend and I had sex and 48 hours later i took the plan B pill because i was afraid that some pre-ejaculate got close and i didn't want to take the chance of maybe being pregnant. I had my period on time and 3 days after it was over we had sex again..Nothing went wrong with the condom either times. Now 3 days after we had sex I am spotting brown and sometimes red...is something wrong or is this normal?? Could it be from deep thrusting which irritated my cervix or am i pregnant????????!!!!!

I had an unprotected sex with my boyfriend twice on May1st in the evening time and again around 4 pm on 2nd May. I took plan B on May 2nd at 8 pm and follow the instruction of the taking the next pill in 12 hrs. On May 7th i start bleeding, i'm not so sure if this is my period or not. Ok, so like everyone else who has posted on here I took the plan b for obvious reasons. I expected to start bleeding and I expected it to be heavier than usual and I expected that to happen within a week to two weeks of taking it. Two weeks later to the date I started bleeding. That lasted about a week and a half then it stopped completely for about a week. Well yesterday (a week past it stopping) I started bleeding again and this bleeding is heavy like it would be after childbirth (I have a child already) if not heavier and its kinda freaking me out because I know that it stopped and I've read about others having the spotting or heavy bleeding but unless I read over it I haven't seen anyone else complaining because it was like a river then stopped and came back the same way. I don't wanna end up anemic or something over thiso.O
