Hello, I am 15 years old and I kinda have trouble getting an erection. Now I dont mean in a sexual experience. Before I can think of a thought that excites me or even if I see somehting, or watch porn and I would get an instant erection but now its not so easy. I have read some were that drinking can cause this and I have been drinking kinda alot with friends and such. I am so worried that when the time comes to have a sexual experience I wont be able to get one. So can anyone tell me what may cause this and what I can do to fix it? I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS SO SOMEBODY ANSWER

Ok, I have a 15yr old. boy, so I will try to help without condescending.
I do not think you have a problem. I think your issue is due to either the drinking or stress.
I will however address the issue of you drinking at the age of 15! It may not damage your sex life, but it will damage your brain. The effects of alcohol on growing brains is extensive. You kill brain cells every time you consume an alcholic beverage. My father drinks and now he gets up in the middle of the night and pees in the closet, the dresser drawer or the corner of the room, because his brain has had so much damage done to it from the alcohol. He is not 70-80 yrs old. He is only 56! I don't mean to sound preachy, but please, your health is not worth a night of fun with the boys. It is possible to have fun without drinking. I do it with people who are drinking around me all the time, and I have only won their respect for not giving in to my convictions.
I know someone else will come along and post more helpful information. But I highly doubt that your difficulty is due to anything other than natural causes.

Hey I am actually shocked to find someone with the exact same problem as I have. I am 23 now, and have had it since i was 18 (I dont mean to scare you into thinking that its gonna last 5 years for you too, but im just saying). I only get erections sometimes in the morning and in sexual situations with girls. Otherwise, a thought alone or a fantasy doesnt do anything. Its really strange, like my mind is cut off from my penis. I dont get involuntary ones during the day whatsoever. Ive researched it on and off for the last 5 years, and the closest thing to it seems to be "loss of libido", since it feels like I have no sex drive, since nothing I see or try to think gets me aroused on its own. I originally thought it was a drinking problem too, since i drank a decent amount since i was 14. However, drinking actually seems to make it easier for me to get aroused when Im with girls now, especially since the through of losing or not getting an erection with a girl completely scares me out of wanting to hookup with girls in general now. Drinking at least eases my nerves in those situations, but it definitely doesnt help in general for erections. But overall, i completely understand your problem and it scares the hell out of me too. I believe that it is all psychological actually and am going to start therapy this Friday. Let me know more bc i do want to see how similar our problems are and maybe if it has to do with something in common.
