Hello, glad to see others are suffering from the same thing. Mine isn't painful whatsoever, its basically just awkward having it up all night as I feel it will eventually lead to erectile dysfunction. Well here's my case:
I am currently 20 years old. Never had any problems, healthy guy. Never used drugs, smoked or drink. When I turned 18, I became extremely sexually active. When I was 19 I was working a full time job, part time job AND going to school full time. My first semester in college was rough because of this. During my second semester around February, I began to see blood in my urine (small amounts). A month later, I began to get prolonged unwanted nocturnal erections. Several blood tests were conducted and everything came back okay. I was diagnosed with chlamydia in october that same year but was treated immediately. My three doctors; primary care provider and two urologists agreed to prescribe me anxiety pills because they believe it is due to anxiety. However that doesn't explain why there is blood in my urine until this day. In a sense, I feel they are somewhat correlated as they both began around the same time (blood in urine and prolonged sleep erections). I am able to control it somewhat; possibly 5 nights in a month I do not experience them. I am 1 year and a half in. I seriously think it has to do with blood in urine or possibly back pain. I need to speak to someone about this! That way we can exchange information and possibly come to a common denominator as to what is causing this. I would like to exchange emails with someone so we can study this in detail!

I am the guy who posted above!
These erections only occur throughout the night the minute I fall asleep
I am urinating more than what I used to
No backpain. However, I used to walk straighter but for some reason I don't walk as straight anymore. I tend to hatch back.
When I wake up, I usually have the erection but it tends to disappear the minute I urinate or stimulate blood flow by taking deep breaths.
chest acne
Please help me man!

I also often have traces of blood in my urine whenever I have a urine sample done at the doctor / hospital. Could be related perhaps.

It was investigated in depth once (I went for a kidney ultrasound) but they said everything seemed ok and it was probably a harmless trace. That was when I was very young however, and the erections at night didn't start until many years later.

I also had a kidney ultrasound and several blood work done and everything came back okay, but there is significant amount of blood traced when they perform a urine culture. Would you mind exchanging emails with me so we can compare our experiences and how it all started, what our doctors have told us etc? Would be very helpful as it would allow us to find a common denominator for the cause!

A few days back someone had mentioned pudendal neuralgia and lower back mri. Can you please update us the progress on this?

Just had my follow up with the neurologist Monday. He looked over my lower back MRI and said even though my back is messed up, it doesn't seem to be the source of the problem. For the time being, he prescribed Neurontin 300mg at bedtime. Give me a week on it and I'll report back. He also said he's going to call around for a doctor specializing in pelvic nerves. I'll keep in touch if he finds one.

Also just received my acupressure mat from Amazon. I'm going to try it out as suggested earlier in the thread. Did it once so far. If you can make it through the first five minutes of major discomfort, it does help to relax you. Between the mat and the neurontin, keeping my fingers crossed. I'll check back in soon.

I bought an acupressure mat too, and it definitely helps with relaxation. However, I have used it the past two nights and the erections have been slightly worse than normal. Will keep it up for a while and report back.
Also, I had been on Neurontin a few years ago, but I have found that Elavil is better for deepening sleep and therefore sleeping through more nocturnal erections. May want to check with your doctor and see what he says. I'm told it has a very long-term record with regard to side effects. I had been told that Neurontin, on the other hand, can have some bad side effects.
To whomever wrote about the pelvic tilt...one doctor told me the same thing, and I believe the tilt has caused some back pain and knee pain. Would be interesting if that was the source of all my maladies!

Thanks for the med suggestion. I'll check with the doctor. In the meantime, I just went down the rabbit hole researching how a tight piriformis muscle can impinge the sciatic AND the pudendal nerves. Very interesting. Testing out the methods to release and stretch the muscle to see if it helps.

For anyone new on this thread, I've had this condition for close to 20 years. Only two things help for me. A week out of the office where I do not sit all day is one, the other is Baclofen. There is a threshold that once I'm over it works. Anything under and it still happens. For me it's around 30mg. There is not other known "cure" for this conditon.

HI Gents
I too had this conditions for nearly 9 years .I done penile doppler ultrasound in which my erections were very low but during the night I had persistent erections not frequent and generally semen doesnt discharge .I used the alarm techniques to confirm that. Moreover during these years my penile length is also shortening and i have some stretch marks like spots above the penile area.would like to have views from my dear brothers and freinds that other too have the these above additional conditions apart from lower back pain and hips pain
I have been to 3 urologist and some other doctors also some are refering to psychiatrist for this
Other guys in this thread like keith is using antidepressants elavil a psychiatric drug to deepen the sleep
things like accupressure mat, jockstrap is for relaxing back pain but nothing do with these erections
My dear friend who are suffering above are saying there is no cure for this condition but is not priapism ,not pudendal neuralgia is it piriformis syndrome i dont think
one think i still links is after getting real and imaginary intercourse for numerous occasions nerves above the penis are weakened
we are knocking door after door but not able to open the right door so its humble request to all my dear freinds we need to help each pther out and work for each other
