Hi,
I had skintags and had them removed about 4 days ago the pain( O bros and sisters God be with you against it. Man alive!) Anyways the hospital I was in was terrible, the staff worse, they forgot to pass a catheter and because of all the IV's and the fact that I was under partial-anaethesia I couldn't urinate. My bladder swelled to twice its size and then I started to have convulsions and rocketting off the bed nearly half a foot, nobody would show up.There wasn't even a urinator around. We improvised and sliced a soda bottle for me to pee but wouldn't work. Then when somebody actually showed up I had to tell them to pass a catheter and when they did they had to pass it 4 or 5 times which gave me an infection.I asked vehemently for a discharge but the army fudging Brig. told me your not supposed to tell me what to do I tell you what to do,and ordered his staff in front of me to ignore all my pleas and turn a blind-eye, my pain O Lord have mercy on all souls. Finally after a lot of nagging I forcefully asked a discharge and went home.To tell you the truth leaving was the best decision but I had to pay well.At night time I had some serious vomitting which drained all my pottasium, my extremities stopped working to a degree that I couldn't breathe or hold up my head.My family rushed me to the hospital but all doctors refused to take me in saying you can go back to your own surgeon and we cannot help.We had to resort asking for help from a friend,I was lucky because my breathing was gone they revived me and hey all was good.I chose to write this post in effort to relieve your pain and probably provide comfort.I have been having mucus and blood discharge and I assure you its benign.Just DO remember to sit in a bath of warm or hot water I prefer boiling water because it lasts longer, add your famous iodine solution or any disinfecting product I use Pyodine solution and the relief it provides is heaven.Well heaven wouldn't hurt and there would be no army personnel there (fingers crossed) but after some help and alot of Flagyll IV's seems like a little mucus might be good.Hope all of you get well soon.and please spread some word around a lot many people have this problem and are too embaressed to share I've personally had this problem For 15 years but its now I chose to have a surgical procedure done please this problem is vast.Hope this helps.Happy pooping.
hi,
its been 6 weeks of my surgery but still having swollen skin tags,,,one is just red and itch like a hell,,,,my doctor told me to Posterane cream but i think its not working as good because sometimes itch is so terrible,,,specially after BM and also after walking,,,,,,i afraid that anyone have SWOLLEN ANAL SKIN TAG(inflamed) after 6 weeks of hemorrhoidectomy???,,,i am due with my dr on monday i will let you know what all she said about it.
So how was your discharge after 10 weeks? I'm in week 7th still having discharge..
the discharge is no more,THANKS GOD....but still sore feeling sometimes specially after BM....how are you going on
I am so sorry for your pain and I am sure you cannot get up to get that lymph moving but try rocking and lifting arms and moving head to help reduce that mucus. Mucus is the result of our body fighting something. If you have some, it needs to go. There are certain foods you can eat and drink to help also. I know a few fresh pineapples, lemons, onions and garlic with some frozen treats reduced my inflamation and allowed some of the nastiest thickest gue to break loose you could ever imagine. I should have investigated the contents to package it as the strongests silicone on the market. It was that bad. Anyway we ill because we fail to get this stuff out most of the time. I hope someone reads this too and feels better soon!
KanAli,
How is your swelling now?
As far as about swelling i think its the hemorrhoid that my Dr: left behind, she said if she removed all the hems: at once there may be Stricture formation, she said if this left behind hemi bleeds than she will do other treatment for that like banding or cryo:,,,,,Right now at 3 months after surgery i just had one issue,,,,and is that after 2-3 hours of any work/exertion/walk i feel dragging pain down there,,,?
that makes me feel very tired and exhausted than i have to take pain killer with muscle relaxant...
Anyways hows your experience with surgery going on....
Slow going. I am on Day 12 and feeling better each day. BM still hurt but I am worried about swelling. I know it is still early, so I am trying not to panic, but it is hard to do. I have an appointment with the doc on Thursday and we shall see. I am lucky to have this week off of work to try to recover more. I guess everyone is different. My fingers are crossed that you will begin to be able to put this behind you soon so you are no longer tired and exhausted. It is not fun.:-(.
Thanks for ur kind words,so nice of you......last night i took Tablet Artifen (anti-inflammatory) with muscle relaxant,so now in the morning iam feeling better(hope this betterment will continue).....
as for ur case that swelling will go slowly (InashaAllah).....don't worry about it just avoid constipation and loose stools....continue with sitz bath and increase FIBER in ur diet.......
yes i know, this surgery is not a piece of a cake but Our Lord will help us,and we will be recovered from this surgery soon,,,,AAMEEN
