Dear: To Whom It May Concern,
I am 46 years old, and have tried to have a successful pregnancy for the past 10 years. I did Fertility Treatments for the past 5 years. I have had 4 miscarriages; the most recent pregnancy lasted 3 months. My progesterone levels always seem to be a bit low. My cousin who is 29 years old, has been trying to get pregnant for 4 years, and finally is pregnant. Her Doctor discovered some problems with her pituatary gland, and evidently got her hormone levels in balance. My question is: What effect does the pituatary gland have on getting pregnant, and is it something I should have checked out-given my medical history? Thank you for your time and advice.
