I am so much in pain at my upper right abdominal region. Visit to O & G said I'm having excessive acid. So, I'm prescribed omeprazole and ranitidine. But, after 2 weeks, the pain worsen. I went to see gastroentologist. He said, if the pain doesn't go after that medication, then it is not gastro related. maybe due to pregnancy. But my scans all normal. Gallblader normal, blood test for liver function also normal. I can't stand this pain anymore especially after I eat something. But I need to eat since I need nutrition for my baby. Please help!!! :-(

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have very similar symtoms and no anwers, but cannot carry on like this. By the end of the day I can't move, the pain just gets progressively worse. Last 3 days it has been accompanied by a tingling feeling like pins and needles but painful in this area. HELP!

Did either of you find out what the pain is caused by? I am just a little over 18 weeks pregnant. I have had progressively worsening abdominal pain for 3 days now. I had an ultrasound and my gallbladder is normal and no stones. The doctor ran some blood tests, but so far everything is normal. The baby looks good, but I'm in pain. It gets a lot worse when I eat, but I need to eat for the baby. Any ideas?
