My husband is dealing with arthritis and I sometimes get so sad watching him suffer. Even though Celecoxib helps, he is far from the man he was before his conditioned got worse. Anyway, he was prescribed on 500mg daily dose of Celecoxib and so far that dosage is effective. Still, I am worried about the side effects. How serious are they?
Well, there are those "standard" ones, like chest pain, nausea, weakness, headaches, ear ringing, and more serious ones, such as coughing up blood, fever, red skin rash etc. Also, you have to know that this drug is not recommended for those that are suffering from any heart condition, because it can only make the situation much worse. At the first sign of trouble, contact his doctor immediately.
