Hello... my name is Nicole. For such a while now, I've kept quiet about these symptoms because my Nuerologist, Ranjit Sethi (University Hospital) tried to make me own depression, and that it was the reason that I am having these symptoms. She prescibed an anti-depressant. I knew this was not my issue. There has to be more. Wherteher discovered or undiscovered...there is more to what is plauging our heads....
I have had almost all the symptoms everyone here has described for almost a year, except for the pain. It is not pain, but pressure. The ringing is intense and does not go away until after about two to three minutes. Sometimes when I roll over in the morning, it happens. It is so scary that i try to hold back my tears from being worried that something terrible and of course uncontrollable is about to happen to my body. Today I was at the movie theater...ARGO :) When the movie ended, my friend and I stood up from our seats an proceeded to walk down the auditorium"s stairs. Just before I reached the last couple of steps, I stumbbled and almost fell down until a man looking upward from the floor saw me falling over and caught me. He held on to me for a few seconds and once I thought I could gather myself, I thanked him and tried to walk forward. This is when I realized that once again, i felt extreme pressure (painless) in my head and dizziness. My ears rang ang my hearing felt as though any sounds close to me were amplified. My friend was calling my name once she realized that it was me who was about to fall over the other theater-goers and immediately grabbed me and asked if I was okay while escorting me to the theater lobby. It took me sometime to answer her; not because I couldn't speak, but because it ALWAYS CREEPS UP ON ME AND I'M IN SUCH A STATE OF FEAR AND SHOCK THAT I NEVER OPENED MY MOUTH.

Hello my name is LOU and here is my problem. Ringing in the earas? I have had them since i was 8-9 years old, do to some stupid prank that i was involved in, but now i am 75 years old (yes you read this correctly, and still have this ringing) however, what really concerns me now is; I am a strong guy and i can walk away with 5gal drum in each hand, no problem, but if i ever want to lift something, like 1gal at chest highth, for more then 3-4 seconds, pressure builds in my head (not pain) like i would not see tomorrow. It is possible that there is a pinched nerve somewhere, and somebody at sometime said to me"what about your feet?" We are on them all day and abuse them with whatever, could that be it? when ever i bring this up with a DOC, i feel to be ignored and see a dumb face staring at me.

I'm not sure if you'll get this post, since a year has gone bye; but anxiety symptoms range all over the place. I've been told I have an anxiety disorder. Here are some of my symptoms: constant ears ringing, weird head sensations that come out of nowhere, head pressure, severe neck stiffness, blurred vision, heart palpitation, aching ears from all the ringing, nausea feeling, dizzeness, light headed and a good headache once a week. The Doctors said its anxiety, I still think it's something else!
