Hi

I am driving myself crazy at the moment. My last period started 30 October. I still have not had my period since then (to date 32 days). The problem is I am unsure how long my cycle is as I have recently come off Mirena IUD, my first cycle since coming off Mirena was 28 days. My breasts are feeling large and sore but I have not been feeling sick or tired at all or experiencing any other pregnancy syptoms (apart from one day last week I felt really dizzy for about an hour and then it went away). Took a home test yesterday and it was negetive. I'm wondering if I am confusing myself with too much web information because my partner and I want a child so badly. I need to stop stressing out about it. Is anyone else out there going nuts like I am? Sorry I didnt use abbreviations - new to this site so need to learn them.

Hi honey! Whenever you come off any type of contraception it CAN take upto 3 months or 3 cycles to be totally back in sync! NOW regarding your sore and enlarged breasts! This is the 1st symtpom of prengnacy - unfortunately it is also one of the 1st signs of a period! You might just be pregnnat honey, and your body knows it, but the HCG levels aren't high enough yet - depending on when and of course IF you conceived! So if your period doesn't come in 2 or 3 more days, you need to get a blood test at your doctors office This will be definitive! Also start taking prenatal vitamins, because if you are pregnant this obviously helps with the development of the baby, but IF you aren't the increased folic acid has been shown to increase your fertility! Please let me know how you make out OK? Good luck and health!
