I received a cortisone shot in my left shoulder (torn ligament/bone pushed down) on 3/9/18. Today is 3/30/18 and I still feel horrible! My symptoms over the last few weeks have been severe nausea, horrible headaches, dizziness, loss of appetite (loss weight because of this), weakness, and severe stomach pressure. I actually went to the hospital 5 days after the shot for severe stomach pressure, where they ran a CAT scan and found that my stomach was not passing the food and liquids into my intestines. I mentioned the shot to the dr in the hospital and he waved it off. From the 14th to the 30th I went to the dr multiple times (4 different drs PCP, dr at ER, dr that gave me the shot, and was referred to a GI dr who have me an endoscopy). All of these doctors ruled to shot out for causing me to feel this way. Finally I went to another GI dr for a 2nd opinion (went to GI for 2nd opinion because my symptoms were mainly GI related with stomach pain, nausea, and loss of appetite). This dr did NOT rule of the shot and explained why the shot can cause one to feel this way and it made since. Then I get online to see I’m not the only one! Someone needs to educate these doctors as I read that multiple people had doctors tell them these symptoms can’t come from a cortisone shot, it’s a lie!!!! Again I got The shot on 3/9/18 and today is 3/30/18 and I STILL feel horrible!
