Has the doctor mentioned anything about having his arteries leading to his kidneys checked?
This happened to my father. Come to find out his arteries to his kidneys were blocked. Once the doctors stented (just like stents used for heart artery blockage) his blood pressure lowered.
My father also had a high creatine level. Is this the case with your husband?
If so it may be worth looking into.
Best of luck.
