its jus like a hair bump but worst, dont wear tight drawls and be careful of how you shave , all that stuff can irritate the hair follicles and cause the cyst , also try to use some type of body scrub or facial scrub down there (be sure not to get none in the vagina or nothn) to unclog your skin....treat it like you do pimples , thats basically all it is except 20 times bigger lol...your okay i get them alllllllllllllllll the time and i hate it -____- , also try to use warm compresses when all other alternatives dont work and you end up getn one anyway

I'm 50 now and I suffered with sebaceous cysts for the first 35 years of my life. My gynecologist said she couldn't do anything but remove them if they were bad enough. It was very painful at times because they could get pretty big and I always had at least one. They left scars, too. About 15 years ago a doctor prescribed me an antibiotic called Zithromax for a respiratory infection. In addition to clearing my respiratory infection it made my sebaceous cysts clear up. They came back just a tiny bit for a couple of years so I told my family doctor what it did and ask for another course of them. I did that a couple of times. It has been completely cleared up ever since. The problem must be hereditary because my daughter now has it. She's mortified but I'm going to need to take her to the doctor to try to get them to treat her the same way that helped me. Hopefully it will work for her also and she won't have to suffer with it as long as I did. This treatment that worked for me was discovered completely by chance and is not a known treatment for chronic sebaceous cysts as far as I know.

I have been using clinical strength deodorant and anytime I wear a different brand or non clinical strength, I get the worst cyst ever. I definitely think they are hormone related as I also get them really bad around my period. Either my period or if I use a different deodorant. :(
