I have been facing a problem inside my throat occasionally for the past ten years. Thought I have no Tonsil problem since 4 year I have cut off my both Tonsil however infection (not tonsil) still happen. I have also left tobacco product 4 year ago.

During infection period it was somewhat hard to swallow my saliva and there was red spot stretching up to one inch and if it is infected on the left side it will swap to right side again and it took 6-7 days to recover the normal condition with or without medicine.

I have concerned with doctors and even took antioxidant medicine, antibiotics and some gargle liquid. I used to gargled salty hot water during infection because of this my throat has somewhat burnt. Sometimes I used to eat milk ice cream during infection because it gives relief and recover the infection somewhat.

My age is 33 Male and my concern is it is possible to cause cancer in my future life, what are the test I m going to test/diagnosis to know what exactly it is and do I need a skin doctor or an ENT specialist.
