I have terrible problems with my joints. They are so painful and stiff that sometimes I wonder what I have done to deserve this. It is literally torture. I have tried a lot of treatments during which I had my ups and downs but they didn't help. Now I want to try Rheumatrex. I have heard that it is used to treat cancers. If it can help with cancer, it probably can help with my rheumatoid arthritis. Tell me how much should I take it?
You should not do it by yourself. This medicine is very dangerous if you overdose. Recommended dosage (if you take it orally which I suppose) is 2.5 to 5 mg for every 12 hours three times a week. Or you can take it 10 to 25 mg once a week. Only your doctor can increase your dosage. Sometimes dosage is highly individualized and doctor will decide how much you can take.
