I’ve developed pain and stiffness in joints of my knees and arms, especially shoulders. I guess it is type of rhumatic disease. I’m 47 years old, female. Should I just start taking pain killers and live with it? I’ve never experienced arthritis or rhumatic pain before. I’m a little bit overweight and not use to exercise. Is it related to development of this disease?

Well, there may be relation between these things. I’m not overweight; I’m very skinny and have problems with rheumatic pain. I’ve had it since I was 25, and now I’m 20 years elder. But I was diagnosed it by the physician, not by myself. So, I would recommend you not to take your pain that easy and make an appointment with your physician. Some physical examinations and laboratory tests should be done to help confirm the diagnosis.
