I am 24 and have been waking many times at night for the past months with a right arm that feels like its not getting enuff blood! It isn't what i would call painful but is enuff to wake me when it happens. I just stay awake for a while and make sure my arm is right by my side. It seems asthough others are having similar same problem, so im not imagining it or dreaming it up. Im off to the doctor! I have had two babies in the last 2 1/2 years but im not prognant now. I think it has sumthing to do with low blood pressure

I have this same thing going on... numbness and pain in my hands and arms (more the right than left, but sometimes the left as well) at night. It starteda few weeks ago and I am 37 weeks pregnant. It doesn't matter how I sleep, and I use a pregnancy pillow so I don't know what is causing it.

Same, tingling, right arm and fingers. Xray relieved osteoarthritis both sides of the neck vertebrae.
I also have back pain and have not had any xrays but I assume the same cause.
Age 66. Nothing to be done,...aspirin daily, swimming etc.

I have had numbness in both my arms and hands for about five years now. It feels like my whole arm is cut off from blood flow. I wake up in tears almost every night and it takes a few minutes to get the filling back. And the pain is almost unbearable. My elbows hurt if I touch them or bump them on anything. I'm so glad I found people that experience the same thing bc I have been so scared. But after reading the comments I guess it's time to see a doctor. It has gotten even worse in the last year. Anymore suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I've started to take 2-4grams of ginger daily.
It's helping.

sounds like CARPAL TUNNEL, or TENDONITIS.. I've had both for many years.. was the worst during my second pregnancy, and I even went to physical therepy for it where they made me a custom brace to wear at night and prescribed stretches and excercises, hot and cold therepy, also ibu 800's... but now.. the two fingers, and thumb have been semi numb for months and it almost feels like I'm loosing control of motor functions in them.. freakin me out so I'm heading back to the doc.. good luck and best wishes..

IT'S CARPAL TUNNEL. LOOK IT UP. IT WILL GET A LOT WORSE. YOU HAVE TO START SLEEPING WITH A WRIST BRACE AT NIGHT.

I have numbness of my arm at night and numbness in my fingers when gripping anything. My doctor sent me for a nerve conduction test that confirmed I have carpal tunnel syndrome. I am wearing a splint at night on my wrist and it seems to be helping.

I also have these problems and I have always had low blood pressure. But the doctors have a excuse for me having that also. I've always been small and they are saying that's why my blood pressure is low and it's normal for small people to have low blood pressure. Anyone ever heard of this before?

Seeing how I am a programmer it makes not using a computer impossible. I have tried several ways to arange my workstation and they all fail to stop the pain and numbness

I do! I have the same problem as you and I started having it after a few months of continuously using a computer mouse sitting down on a chair and buy arm always being below my butt level. In other words my hand was always down when using the mouse and this is sometimes took place for a couple of hours each night. Please write to my email _[removed]_ and please let me know how it's going for you or what did you do because I have the same problem and don't know what to do. If you don't mind make sure to put "answer to your question" on the subject of the email so I know the time I see it what the email is about. Thank you!

Same problem.  Tingling in right hand and forearm.  Just looked it up on one of the medical sites.  Probably a pinched ulnar nerve - funny bone problem - tennis elbow.  All seem to be related.  Had to stop playing tennis years ago because of tennis elbow.  Gave up bowling 2 years ago, same thing started to happen.  Now it just goes numb when it doesn't have good blood flow or is held above the elbow's height.  I think I will try the Aleve that someone mentioned, and will report this to my doctor when I see him next.
