I had a severe medical condition last month, kidneys simply stopped working in ICU for a week, had lots of tests with no difinitive DX. I did have an upper and lower GI test done with a small cut to my L under tounge area.....I have had since that time huge swelling to R gland after every meal or drink, with a strange metallic taste.....has this happened to anyone....Thanks for any advise.

Hi,I am experiencing a swollen lymph node on my left side and it appears after I eat I also have a metallic taste under my tongue and some kind of swelling in the area under my tongue. It is not an allergic reaction, I don't think because it happens after I eat anything. Did you ever figure out what yours was?Thanks!

My lymph nodes swell throughout my body every time I eat seafood. Doctors say it isn't allergies, but I can't even eat food grilled on the same grill as seafood without swelling and pain. This has been a problem since childhood. I'm now 52 and it is getting continually worse. Other family members have the same problem.
