Six years ago I was diagnosed with M.E.  As a part of this condition I have a problem with my adrenal gland, it switches on and then takes ages to switch off.  I had been prescribed Fluticason-Propionaat nasal spray for a sinus infection and then took erythromycin and then amoxicillin to try and clear the infection.  After three months my GP prescribed the antibiotic doxycycline as the others had not been fully successful at removing the infection. I was still taking the Fluticason.  After four days on doxycycline I had problems breathing, I collapsed and was taken to A&E by ambulance.  I was told that my oxygen level and my lungs were fine but that the veins in the surrounding muscle tissue had ruptured.  This rupturing also happened to my left leg.  On my leg I had a very large patch of yellowing tissue, then black on the inside and in the centre I could see large red lines.  This incident happened over four weeks ago.  The obvious damage has now cleared now, but I still see black lines on my leg below the skin's surface and still have difficulty in breathing and walking. My GP does not seem to be interested and has not even looked at the damaged area.   Should I be worried and seek treatment or will this problem clear up in time?  Many thanks for your help?
