My Dr told me Prozac is the only anti-depressant that has been proven safe for pregnancy. Maybe you can ask your Dr?

I have been taking Effexor for the last 6 years and maintained taking it through both my pregnancies. My doctor advised me that there is very little studies that have shown concrete effect on babies.
My daughter & son were born perfect and with no problems.
Personally I wouldn't advise coming off it unless u can be 100% sure u will not have any side effects from stopping it.
The early part of pregnancy is the most important to the baby and u, a happy mum will = a happy baby. A depressed mother will give all that to the baby.
Just something to think about.

I'm on the 37.5 as well, those are tablets and not capsule. So we do not have the option of taking the extended release beads out. You can cut your pile in half and thirds. I've gone down to 17mg and I notice I start snapping more and quicker.
