hi searched on here but cant seem to find anyones posting any info on salofalk enemas used to treat coilitis. i started these last nite and actually feel worse today i am full of gas and leaking weird white bloody goo is this normal???

hi brand name salofalk also mesalamine using them as treatment for ulceritis coilitis. unfortunately i also developed a cold this week so dont know whether this is causing me to feel worse than usual. just thought someone else might have taken them and that all this will settle down after a while. think a trip to the doc is well in order but he is useless and wouldnt go to the specialist in the hospital unless i was dying! the specialist did prescripe a another drug but no chemist has it at the mo and will take a few weeks to come in, will check my prescription to be sure but i think it is predfoam or prednose??? thanks for ur reply anyway!

I am guessing that it could have caused you to feel worse. Did you ever find out if that was the cause or not? I am curious to hear how things turned out.
