I’m a 16 year old girl and I’ve noticed I’ve had scabs here and there on a pubes for a while. Recently I was taking a bath and reintroduced to this problem. Between my pubic hairs I have scabs and if you touch them they normal fall off even though I’m not picking. I have lots of them, they’re pretty small and they’re not like huge sores or anything. When I search what they could be the only answers I find are STDs which I don’t think I have because I’m a virgin I’ve never even had my my first kiss. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I first noticed this when I shaved my pubes years ago and ended up with a lot of little cutes but I haven shaven my pubes in over a year since I noticed I didn’t know what I was doing and I was just causing scarring. I will admit though that I don’t have the best hygiene habits, kind of embarrassing but I thought I’d mention it because it might matter.

Also I thought I would add that I usually don’t noticed any bumps or sounds before these scans appear I get pubic acne or cysts when I haven’t bathed or changed in a few days but don’t usually notice them leaving behind scabs and those bumps are generally a different size than these scabs. I also thought it would be impossible to add that I have no pain with them unless I accidentally pick or scratch one.
