Yeah I have the same, I am not real sure if I have the whole shebang with two uterus or not. For the longest time I told my mom I couldn't wear tampons and she would tell me that I wasn't doing it right. I didn't find out until I was like 17 and went to planned parenthood. THe lady was like amazed and feeling all up in there and I was like...umm...are u done?!! It was weird. I was reading a blog on this the other day and a girl said you can have sex in both holes, then I read that it was true but I would be like...well your virgin hole so u know, there is like a cherry...lol anyway, I know people get amazed...men...when you talk about it...it is weird though. I have been trying to figure everything out about it. Just google! good luck!

I have a bicornuate uterus and a septate vagina, the whole way down. I have been told at the start that I can have surgery to remove the septum and so have a normal sex life, but then another gynaecologist told me that they can't operate on me without damaging my cervix thus ending my chances of having kids. I didn't feel like I had much of a choice - to not have sex so won't have kids or to have surgery and not have kids. They gave me dilators to stretch it out, so to speak, and it's been physically and mentally a huge strain to carry out the treatment myself. Not only does it burn and hurt, I just get so upset when I'm doing it, all that self hatred c**p.

I'm turning 25 next month and I still haven't had proper sex. I know I'm being a coward because I've been avoiding doctors since I've been diagnosed since none of them could help me nor did they care, fair enough I guess. I can't get close to men because as soon as we get intimate I know I can't carry out my part.. I don't feel like a woman.

Oh man, that last last post was too sad not to respond to...

First of all. Go to another OB, its not true that by having the surgery to remove your septum it will damage your cervix and therefore you will not be able to have kids. That really upset me. You should be able to enjoy sexual intercourse and be able to conceive when you'd like. Please go to a new doctor, a specialist.

I am a 20 year-old woman with a complete duplication of the vagina, cervix and uterus. Thats right, two of everything! I successfully had a 7lbs, 4oz full term baby boy 3 years old. Doctors had told me if would be mere impossible to conceive and when I did they told me no way would I be able to carry till 40 weeks. Zero complications, except for a c-section which I opted for because of how unexperienced the doctors had with patients like me. Please ladies, keep your heads up. Don't get discourage, fight for the answer you want! I believe that if you want something bad enough it will happen. Good luck and please feel free to ask any questions what-so-ever. I am open and if I can help anyone else, nothing would make me happier.

I am 23 years old and I have a septate uterus and vagina. I am sexually active since I was 16 and I have never had problems besides a bit of pain in some positions while having sex. The only thing we need is more foreplay so that the vagina can relax more and widen (actually all women need that, we just need it to be a little bit longer) I haven't seen a specialist yet to know about the surgeries I might need but I know I am not a "freak" and I deserve respect and pleasure!!! If anyone tells you he/she doesn't want to have sex with you because of that, it's his/her loss because we can have a lot of fun!! we have more places to play with"" =D Be proud, not ashamed!!

Julie, your posting was so encouraging! Ive never met anyone else with similar conditions, and its great to know there are others out there! I am 27 and have a bicornate uterus, double cervix and septate vagina. Has anyone else had any issues with pelvic floor muscle strength?

As a male, I sympathise with females with this condition. I had a young partner with this condition. I'd never even known a girl could have two vaginas and two cervix until I saw it for myself. She confided in me that it had always been too uncomfortable for her to have proper sex. Fortunately, with great patience, perseverance and lengthy sessions of very slow and gentle intercourse in the right positions, we worked out what worked best for her, and from my point of view it was an absolute pleasure to experience her enjoying her orgasms each time we had sex.

I have a septate vagina, one cercix. I am having big problems finding an obgyn. I recently had a pap come back abnormal the other was ok. I am really confused. I dont know what questions to ask. What kind of specialist? The one I currently see is for high risk. I feel like she really doesnt want to be bothered with me. She has a real hard time getting my paps done. And the biopsy she wants to put me under because its sooo painful. Where do I find help. Feel like a freak eveytime I have a pap.

I met a girl recently who has this and was unaware. upon research on my own, im convinced but would prefer a medical confirmation. no problems, no issues, sex is awesome. a bit more odor than Im used at times but that could be unrelated entirely. Im a bit concerned for her well-being if she were to become pregnant later. I suppose a C-section would solve the "cut or don't cut" question. I prefer her perfect as she is. unless is causes discomfort or health risks, you and she are perfect natural anomalies. I don't know why a girl would feel any shame or embarrassment about this. men who cant cope or discuss this with their partner aren't "men".

I had a septate (double) vagina. Had it removed when I was 19 or 20. Also have a septate uterus dividing it into two. I left the septum in my uterus. The dr left part of the vaginal septum on my cervix so my cervix would not get damaged. At 29 became pregnant carried to full term four days past my due date. Had a viginal borth and a healthy baby boy who is now 6.
