DEAR MOMM86. Yes hemrroids are gross. I have a tip or trick for you that will give you some relief. Get a package of wipes that come in a container and also a large bottle of witch Hazel. Pour the whole bottling into the tub of wipes. 30 times cheaper than buying hemrroid wipes. Through out the day use them and after awahile the hemrroids will finally slow down. Go down in swelling and you should be back to normal. This being said you will still have to watch doing anything that will make them come out again as you will be right back in the same shape

I am having these pains now for the first time. I was wondering about hemroids too. I got them after my last baby and now this pain. The gas and constipation thing could also be true though. The pain and pressure isn't fun. My husband is studying to be a doctor so if it doesn't get better soon I will wake him to ask.

It is one a muscle spasm or cramp, mostly caused from dehydration or low potassium. If during the hot summer months your body sweats more, making you need more fluids.

I am looking these symptoms up because they have just recently happened. However I have had complained and complained to my PCP and GYN about painful intercourse ever since my tubal ligation with metal clips, not burning and tying off the tubes. After having my last child 10 years ago (I'm 38) I started having the extremely bad anus pain, at random times. But recently it has happened after painful intercourse (no diagnosis) and not until I go to wipe and pee, then the butt pain(cramps) started. I'm now wondering (have been for years) if my metal clips actually are causing pain and issues, even though I have had no luck getting any DR to believe me about my clips causing pain and issues!!

Trust me you are not alone on this one. Last night me and my husband had vaginal sex and immediately after the worst pain in my abdomen and anal canal started cramping. It's the hardest thing to describe to someone who has never experienced this. It's happened to me once before 9 years ago when I was pregnant. I was about 30 weeks when I started to feel the pain. I tried to explain to my dr what was Goin on and all she did was gave me some enima. Safe to say that didn't work. For 2 days I was in so much pain and couldn't even sit on my butt. After 2 days it went away and then returned back in about 2 weeks. I just assumed that was normal do to the pressure of the baby. My problem now is I'm not pregnant my youngest child is 3 years old and it's back. Strange thing is it only happens after sexual intercourse. Someone out there knows what could possibly cure this or at least what's actually causing these pains. Please help!!!

I just came across this post, noticed it was over a year ago and was wondering (and praying on your behalf) if you have gotten this issue resolved. I have experienced, twice now, the EXACT same symptoms, just excruciating, I am so so sorry you had to endure such a thing. I myself have gotten no answers thus far medically but am still searching. Hoping someone out there had answers :)

I have endometriosis growing in my pelvis and have has this happen after intercourse and bowl movements. If they saw fluid, maybe they should check out why. I was treated for PID (STD) when I went to the ER for a severe attack. I told them I didn't have any chance of STD's and they loaded me up with antibiotics anyways. My pain worsened at home and the tests came back negative for any STD or STD caused pelvic inflammatory disease. They had me go back to the ER, treated my pain, and did a scan that showed fluid in my pelvis despite having no infection. It was probably just from my endometriosis. I have had two laparoscopic surgeries for my endometriosis that helped but having an attack again tonight. Pain meds and muscle relaxers are only dulling the pain. Hey, sign up for OBAMAcare/State insurance. They will back date and cover your bill if you apply right away. See a good gynecologist and also a good naturopathic doc. Good luck!

The gas idea makes the most sense. I'm also experiencing this pain right now. I attempted to move my bowels yesterday and excuse my language, and only managed to get one t**d out, that hurt like hell! I'm constipated! Don't have sex when u are gassy or constipated, because this is what will happen to u!

This has happened to me three times in the past 6 months. The first time it happened I went to an urgent care and the Doctor told me it was a really good orgasim and the vaginal walls constrict during the orgasim but when this happens the vaginal walls stay constricted causing this horrible pain and to use lots of lube and do use support like a pillow to prevent it. The Dr told me it shouldn't happen again, but she was wrong. It really happens when I am really into sex and having a really really good orgasim. I'm going to my GYN soon and hopefully I can get a more logical answer and other prevention tips

I've gone through this pain twice in a matter of 3 months. The last one a couple days ago. I also thought its only gas. I went for a check up and turns out to be a cyst that had started bleeding.

hope that this post will help others!

I had vaginal sex with my boyfriend last night and we did it in the doggy style position. With every thrust I felt a sort of pressure being pushed into my body. Not to be gross here but it felt like something was being shoved up the anal canal or that my gas was being pushed into me. I wasn't particularly gassy and didn't feel as though I had to make a bowel movement before we started going at it. It was very painful afterwards. I felt cramps very similar to menstrual cramps. My urethra was a little irritated as it usually is after sex and I felt as though I had to make a bowel movement. I sat on the toilet and nothing came out. After about an hour (and me returning to my home) I was able to urinate but I still wouldn't pass gas or a bowel movement. About 20 minutes later I released some gas which made it easier for me to sleep but now it is morning and I have not passed a bowel yet. I still have a feeling of pressure in the anus but I am able to easily pass gas. I honestly don't think you should be worried unless you are as some of the ladies mentioned; doubling over in pain, or having pain so severe that you may need to go to the doctor. Wind getting trapped in the body sounds like a plausible cause for my condition.

This has also happened to me 3 times, twice after sex and once randomly while I was just home. The first time was after sex and it was hell. I had no idea what was going on. My boyfriend had learned in massage school about a trigger point right on the bottom point of your tail bone to help relive cramps. I tried it and it worked instantly. The pain was still there but had had definitely been relived drastically. As soon as I let go though, the hell pain came back fast. I later found out the cramps most defiantly had to do with my constipation issues. The pain completely goes away after I pass stool or if I lay down in one position for a long time.
