Please all check out hypotension, if you get a head rush when laying down, on stomach, standing or even sitting on toilet, raising arms, hot water,  it is a drop in your blood pressure.  take caution when moving.

You can get it from moving it is a specific spontaneous drop called postural or orthostatic, be careful xx

it's just high blood pressure.. that's it. Get your arteries checked for blockage.. cuz that's why blood pressure goes up in this particular position

Me too!! I've mentioned it to doctors and haven't gotten any answer. It's now become a bigger issue because I now have a chronic headache that began 3 months ago. I just noticed that this stomach position (along with some other positions I did in yoga) greatly exacerbate my headache. So curious! I had the primary issue of just strong dizziness and feeling of passing out for many, many years. Now I'm 45 and had my only child 3 years ago.

Hi! I have the same symptoms you are describing. They seem to have started after I had my son 2 years ago. I am also a smoker though and it seems worse if I have smoked more than usual or when it is hot outside. I have not been to a doctor for this, but I do not have any health issues. It does seem to lessen if I drink quite a bit of water though, so perhaps its a dehydration thing. Sorry I couldn't be more help, but it is nice to know that I am not the only one with this issue.

Pseudotumor Cerebri typically occurs in overweight females of child bearing age. As previously mentioned you can go to your optometrist and have them look at your optic nerves and see if they are swollen. Sometimes people will also notice a swooshing in their ears with PTC but it isn't brought on by the position we have been discussing. Just thought I would throw that out there because I have this exact same issue all of you are having. I have tied to figure it out for years. Recently I started having Sciatica most likely due to piriformis syndrome (still not sure have to get imaging done soon). I have extremely tight hip flexor muscles that have caused the sciatica and associated pain. I am just wondering if there could possibly be a connection between the sciatica/piriformis syndrome and the 'pins and needles' sensation I get when I prop myself up on my arm while laying on my belly? I get the sensation I'm gonna pass out sometimes. I also get the pulsing in my head. I discovered it was a lot worse after I had been riding my bike which makes me think it could be related to the sciatica/piriformis syndrome. Any thoughts?

Hi there. I am a 26 y/o and have had a great deal of health issues, especially in the last few years. I also have these symptoms and will be going to the dr this week to get another MRI to check and see if something is wrong with my spine and the base of my skull. I had a brain tumor removed 2 years ago and it's been worse since. If you have had surgery and this has gotten worse since, please let me know. I would love to hear from you! Thank you

I've always had that problem too. I could never lie down on my stomachs and lift my head because I would get a sudden headache. But then I would get up and it would go away. Last night it was a bit different ... I layed down to watch a movie and all of a sudden bang!! I got a severe headache and I had patchy vision I could see shapes and couldn't focus on anything. Then I started the feel nausea and very dizzy like everything was spinning. And it didn't go away I tried everything to get rid of that feeling I drank lots of water went for a walk and had Panadol. I tried sleeping but it was very hard to sleep in so much pain. And this morning when I woke up with was gone down a lot but I can feel it still there it's a slight numbing feeling now. I looked it up and it could of been a migraine attack. So if you have these same symptoms it could of been that.
