I feel your daughter. I have the same symptoms. I've been to so many doctors. I've only been diagnosed with endometriosis. Which I don't believe it's true. My symptoms come and go as they please. My area gets hot and painful. I feel it when I cough, laugh and especially if I sneeze. When the pain starts to go away my are gets very itchy. I scratch until it feels very sensitive inside. I know very crazy symptoms.

I have similar problems mine does radiate down to my pelvic erea though.. it’s very similar to appendicitis but on the other side, I was diagnosed with Diverticulitis a few years ago and have been told that I will have to get the bad part of my intestine taken out soon, some Drs won’t even think to look for this if your under the age of 60 as it’s considered and old persons thing . I’m only 35. might not hurt to ask your Dr to check it out.

I'm partially cured of this. Was a hernia about 1 inch to the left of the navel.
The surgery scars and the thread (which did not dissolve well) are still a bit painful - 7 months after surgery - but the pain is much more bearable. I can sleep well again in the meantime, was having sleepless nights 1-2 times per week before surgery.

Good tip: ask your doc for a needle with local anesthetic plus some cortisone - right into the center of the pain. you will feel it when the tip hits "the right spot" and then he can inject.

If you are completely painfree for a few hours (anesthetic), and then in much less pain for a week or two (cortisone) - it's an issue of either nerve entrapment or a hernia of the stomach wall.

You may still have IBS/IBD (I have IBS) and that makes it worse, but still the main issue will then be clear.

Good luck!

Out of curiosity, do you still have this pain or find any answers. I am a 45 yr old female who just experienced this same feeling two days ago (and continues). The pain occurs when I bend over and feels as if I'm wearing a belt that is pushing into my skin (about an inch to the left of my bellybutton).

Hello, did you ever identify the main cause of the pain. I am having the same symptoms since yesterday. I know it's been quite a while since you posted this but I would really appreciate a response. Thank you
