I'm 25 and I had my gall bladder removed 4 weeks ago. i woke up from the op in hurrendous pain i was taken to recover ward which the pain only got worse. i was made to feel like a pest asking for pain relief. they sent me home the day after even tho i was in agony and couldn't stand up straight or walk needless to say i was rushed back into a and a the day after by ambulance. they eventually discovered i had a massive bile leakage which caused septecimia and i had to have an emergency operation to wash out the infected bile. i was then left with two drains in my side for the next week until i was ready to be discharged. I was very lucky.
i was in pain first few days when i got home but only to be expected however on saturday night i started with a sharp stabbing pain when breathing in my right side. i can't cough snezze laugh hiccup or breath fast without getting this stabbing pain. i went bk to a and e who said it could poss be a blood clot on my lung but they're going to put it down to a strain for now. i know I've not strained myself and now I'm really worried. could anyone suggest what this could be as i do not trust the hospitals diagnoses
thanks

I am having the same problem. Best of luck. Mine has been going for 5 months now and no one can find out what is going on with me.
