Hi there, I'm 19 years old and male pattern baldness is hitting me pretty fast, I have receded at the temples and I am also thinning all over the crown. I would give it a few years until I am fully bald. In all honesty, i don't mind the shaven headed look at all - i think that it suits me apart from the shape of my head, I'm not sure what's gone on with it's development but the bump at the back just doesn't seem normal, it's sort of stopped me from getting away from the depression that hair loss has caused me, because I feel as though shaving isn't a greta option now.

Opinions?

And if it is THAT bad, what can i do about it? going bald fast and finding that my head is almost deformed has really changed me over the last year.

Thanks in advance

Hi honey! It think you look great bald!!! It suits you totally! What you are talking about - the bump at the back - is called The Parietal bone! It is one of the plates that close up when you are a baby! We ALL have seems and ridged on our skulls - depending on when and where the joining happened! So I think it looks fine and no BS! NOW if you saw my husbands head THEN you would be depressed!!!!! ;-) XD Remember 1 thing - that a good guy friend of mine found out the hard way - WHERE SUNSCREEN!! You forget so much about your head, and it hasn't seen the light of day and then WHAM! BURN!!!! So just take care of it thats all! It think it's a keeper!

We all have slightly different head shapes. It's part of what makes us unique. I can't actually see your pictures for some reason so I can't comment on that, but I do want to say that I love shaved heads, and guys shaving body hair as well, it's just a clean look that shows that you're confident in yourself and have nothing to hide... including your head shape, whatever it is.

Sunscreen becomes important when your head is completely shaven, yes, and in winter you may have to wear hats. In return, you get an easy sexy look that requires very little maintenance and that you can even do all by yourself at home.
