I have the same pain. Seems to be when I drink alot of different alcoholic drinks quickly. It's a heavy ache across my neck and shoulders and goes within 10-20 minutes then does not come back again if I keep drinking. I also have a lump on my neck. I have read alot about lymphoma. Is there anything else it could be. I am very worried

I have this also, horrible experience but I also recently found it can also indicate a B Vitamin deficiency. Over the years I've had B12 shots but just found out they may go hand in hand.

thank you. I will definitely look into it. I got the same burning pains from drinking apple juice a few weeks ago., but today it happened with orange juice. weird. I went to jamba juice and it's all natural but here I am suffering with burning chest pains. geez

I have this same problem, hence why I am on here, and I do have a heart defect, bicuspid aortic valve with stenosis, which causes me to have arrhythmia. This was also my concern is that itis heart related.....

Had this problem for quite a while now. If you have this problem, i suggest looking up gallstones and alcohol on google. Might give a different perspective vs. the Hodgekins disease one that we all always see.

Gallstones in the gall bladder tend to have pain radiate up towards your right shoulder/shoulder blade. Commonly mistaken for cardiac-related pain, but worth looking into. I have this problem every now and then. My neck and shoulders tense up so bad it hurts. It lasts about 20 minutes and goes away. I can tell you for certain it's not gallbladder, I've had mine out and it just happened. I drink water and eat a snack and it seems to go away a few minutes later. It never happens to me with beer or wine, just mixed drinks (mostly vodka) and it doesn't matter what the mixers are. Wish I knew what it was...glad to know you all have the same problem, I get looked at like I'm insane if I ever mention it to anyone!!!

I've struggled w this since I started to drink. Definitely notice it w tequila intake (margaritas) or after a decent amount of vodka. I've never been a drinker because of the uncomfortability that occurs in this situation. It's horrible, I usually end up on the floor stretched out w extreme tightness in my shoulders & chest. I've decided to quit drinking because this is not worth it.

I spoke to my doc because my pain is starts on my shoulder, down my hips and legs. My doc spoke of a possibility of a lack of enzymes that break down alcohol. I don't see anyone talking about this. So maybe this can enlighten us all on a possible reason of why the pains with only one sip.

I have the exact same symptoms. Many of you are saying its the gall bladder, i dont have one so im not sure where that leaves us all. It has gotten so bad that i no longer drink. I'm hoping to find some answers to this sooner rather then later.
