Hello,
I am 18 years old, and I have chronic shoulder pain. It hurts the worst after I throw anything. It hurts when I sit down and play video games. It hurts when I sit down and type. It does not hurt when I lift weights or do stretches (full flexibility basically). I played baseball from ages 4-11 or so and then I quit. The pain started around age 13 or so, if I remember correctly. It seems as though it has gotten progressively worse. Last summer I went to the doctor's, pt, and they found absolutely in terms of diagnosing my shoulder issue. They did an MRI and nothing showed up.
Someone please tell me what is wrong. I've noticed that a lot of people have had shoulder injuries, and a lot of people cannot find a diagnosis. I hope I can.

There may be tests other than an MRI to see what is wrong. Also, check your medical records after the radiologist writes the report. The doctor may have made his own assessment and the radiologist actually sees something. Too bad the doctor already told you an answer and you went home. The report just goes into your file. Pain is a sign of concern. It is your body's language for stop doing that. If it keeps up, have a different doctor look at it and when you get the next set of tests run, have it photoed in the position of pain.
