side effects of testerone in women

I suffered from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and I experienced excessive facial hair grow and increased sexual desire. I talked to my gynecologist about it and she told me that fat cells can turn estrogen to testerone. I was overweight though. Some women experience irregular periods as well but I had no problems with my periods. Strange. Do you think you may be in a similar situation?

I am taking a natural prescribed testosterone 1%, 0.2ml daily. Other than a possible increase in facial hair are there any other side effects related to this?
