My grandmother is driving me crazy. She smokes all day, sometimes over 40 cigarettes. We keep fighting all the time about that. I love her very much, but she won't listen to me. I try to explain her the danger of excessive smoking, but she just keep saying how she cannot and will not change her habits not that she is over 70 years old. I have to know about signs and symptoms of bronchitis. If she won't take care of herself, I will do it.

Signs ad symptoms of bronchitis are numerous. There are productive cough attacks during winter, lack of oxygen, whistling sounds coming from chest especially in morning etc. The good thing is that your grandmother did not show any of these signs until now. But that does not mean that she won't sometime start feeling breathing problems, coughing... Then again, there are cases of heavy smokers who never had any breathing problem during their lives. Let's hope she is one of them.
