Feels like a hair or a kernel , had the feeling for awhile now. The thing is no pain just frustration, sometimes I have trouble swallowing my own saliva. Water provides temporary help same with brushing my teeth and tongue. I think it's cancer but I don't want to know and wouldn't believe them if they said it wasn't.

You may want to check your thyroid. If you have a rather large nodule it can press on things inside and cause these symptoms.

Jesus Man! Go to a Oncologist or an ENT today! Don't wait any longer! I waited and spit every day especially in the morning. Never had any soreness or such just constant spitting. Thought it was my sinuses. Went to an ENT last month and found a large tumor on the base of my tongue. Diagnosis....stage 4 cancer !! Now in my 4th week of therapy and let me tell you it's hell, but you can do it. Never put of getting checked. A simple video scope down the nose found my problem, than it was off to the races. I hope yours is not cancer but better safe than sorry like me.

You need to see a net doctor sounds like acid reflex same thing I had you to take ligament. Or what th we Dr gives you but make no mistake about acid reflex can cause throat cancer, no joke
