Hello, folks. I have a problem and I was hoping someone here could give me a useful advice. I have a sinus infection that has been lasting for more than a month. I take antibiotics as prescribed, but they are obviously not helping. Can anyone tell me something more about this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, there. I had the similar situation last year. It is possible that you have nasal septum deviation. In this case, nasal septum is deformed and it blocks airflow. It also interferes with sinus secrete drainage. In this case, antibiotics won’t help much. You should go for a correction of the deviation. The procedure that does this is called septoplasty. I hope it will help you. Consult with an ENT specialist. Bye!
