I think the first step anyone with hair issues should take is to get a blood test done. You will learn what your specific issue is and how to target it. Next, a good diet and vitamins are really important as well as sleep and lowering stress. Massage your scalp everyday (I do it in the car while I wait at lights). You know you have an issue with circulation on the scalp if it is very tingly and slightly painful/sore when you do that. You can massage an almond oil or emu oil right before to give it a little more of a boost. There is not going to be a magic pill, like I originally wanted. It is good that you are taking care of it now b/c hair issues only get worse, not better. I started noticing hair falling at about 22 yrs old and got the Biotin vitamins but didnt really stick with it. I had a baby at 23 and my hair grew in like crazy, so I was very happy and forgot about the problem. After pregnancy the hair fell out little by little and became even more thin than before by 2 years later. This should have been an indication to me that my hormones were the cause of my hair falling but I didn't put two and two together. After doing months and months of research and going to my dr. I found that I was extremely vitamin deficient which caused my hormones to be out of control. Through my own research I found, Soy Isoflavones. It is a Soy based supplement, which helps with balancing hormones. I noticed a difference within 2 weeks. My hair stopped falling out. Maybe like 4 or 5 hairs would fall whereas before I had bunches of hair falling out. I read it was good to massage your scalp b/c the dih..would constrict the blood to the scalp to shrink the follicles. I started doing that as well and I actually saw the new buds of hair, tiny black dots. I was so excited. It is now a year later and it is still not where it used to be but it is growing and not falling. I am much happier.
