I had a tendon surgery last week, apparently it was major but i dont know how it would be classified im not a doctor. Anyways i was wondering when it would be okay for me to smoke(cannabis) again and if I were to smoke now how would it effect me. The nurse told me it would do something to my bones and that ill hate myself forever but i cant remember what she said exactly i was still very loopy from the anesthesia, and im a little confused by that because my surgery was only on my tendons which were cut in half. thanks!

People have told me that smoking after Achilles tendon surgery presents a high risk of blood clotting. Is this true? If so how long should I wait?

I smoked a joint 10 days after a pec tendon surgery and I must say it was the worse idea ever. My body was so relaxed that I felt the pain even 10 times more as my body was super relaxed and I could feel everything even more. I could not wait for the weed to leave my system as it felt like the very first day I had the surgery done. I just hope I have not caused any implications in the wound area as I am now sh**ting myself I have done some damages as my wound now hurt more than it did day before I smoked. I urge anyone who have just undergone a pec tendon surgery not to try this as the pain is unbearable after.
