Hi iam 15 years old (male)and i was wondering what may be inside my scrotum ive noticed a weird kinda fatty feeling thing inside my scrotum it is in my scrotum next to my left testi nothing near the right testi.
not quite sure if it is ad big as my testi(not as wide i think maybe same length though or longer) or attahced to my testi but its kinda like a cord tangled but it has a fatty feeling to it and the reason i say it kinda feels like a cord tangled is because i can follow the feel of it goin right up inside me not attaching or going onto but maybe into the penis but the trail seems like it keeps goin up inside sord of like behind the back of my penis or not attaching on the way up but underneath it kinda it just hangs down into my scrotum kinda next to my left testi.Im not quite sure when i noticed it but im pretty sure ive had it for a while but when i was younger just figured it was part of my body. up to this date it has never bothered me at all i dont realy remember when i was youngger but pretty sure ive never had pains in my scrotum and i dont now,it almost just hangs there as if its dead.actually ive just touched them to see something and ive notice that there are vainy like cords hanging donw into my right testi comming from the same direction the left testi ones are but the ones on the right side are very small the ones on the left testi side come down small for then get very large kinda clumped or tangled feeling.also i have some small pimple looking things on the outside of my scrotum that dont seem to be abe to pop cause they have no heads ive had those for a while also no pain oor anythign form them ether also they arent in cluster they are kinda all seperated and there on my foreskin again not in clusters (well not attatched to eachother at all but some are close but not close enough to think they were connected at all)and appear better when skin is pulled back of course.

thanks for any help just really curiouse to as what it may be. %-)

its completly normal and there is nothing to worry about ;sometime there is a mass like what you describe and its congenital part of your developing testis called the testis appendix just like the one in your intestine ; and its an extision of the epididmes that cord going out of testis ;so its normal and have no effect on your life .

You possibly have hernia.

Go to a doctor and get it checked. Preferably go to a urologist

Hey guys,

I have had the same thing adjacent to my left testicle for as long as I can remember, and finally decided to do some research. Luckily for all of us, I was successful in my findings!!

It turns out that the coiled mass that can be likened to feeling a "bag of worms" is actually a mass of extra-dilated veins called varicocele. Read up on what I found.

Copied from Wikipedia:

The idiopathic varicocele occurs when the valves within the veins along the spermatic cord do not work properly. This is essentially the same process as varicose veins, which are common in the legs. This results in backflow of blood into the pampiniform plexus and causes increased pressures, ultimately leading to damage to the testicular tissue.

Varicoceles develop slowly and may not have any symptoms. They are most frequently diagnosed when a patient is 15–30 years of age, and rarely develop after the age of 40. They occur in 15-20% of all males, and in 40% of infertile males.

98% of idiopathic varicoceles occur on the left side, apparently because the left testicular vein runs vertically up to the renal vein, while the right testicular vein drains directly into the inferior vena cava. Isolated right sided varicoceles are rare, and should prompt evaluation for an abdominal or pelvic mass (see secondary varicocele, below).

You're welcome. And no, you don't have cancer.

I have the same thing connected to my left testicle and im 12 years old but i dont know what is. Nothing abnormal has happened, but like a month before i noticed it, i had a few random pains there, but the doctor said i was fine. then i noticed it almost half a year ago and nothing has changed or reacted to it so im curious as to what it is.
